FROM THE CLASSROOMFROM THE CLASSROOM
Class Kinder In L3 we are learning how to predict what might happen in different stories. We are trying very
hard to use our imagina ons. We are focusing on when to use capital le ers and full stops in our
wri ng. In Maths we have been learning about length as well as our daily number ac vi es. In
HSIE we are looking at important people in our lives and reasons why they are important. We
chose a special person and made them in our Art session. In Library we made a ‘Venn’ Diagram
comparing two stories that we have worked on. We had to work out what was the same in ‘Koala
Lou’ and “Possum Magic” and what was different. Keep reading with your child daily and revise
the sight words on their bu erfly charts so they are familiar with them when reading and wri ng.

We have plans!!
Now that the school has the security fencing, we are very excited about being able to make great changes/improvements in the playground. Mrs Doust, Miss Farmer and the SRC members will do a walk around the school and look at areas that will most benefit, with changes to current play zones and improvements to the play equipment and or new areas put in place. We would like to thank everyone who has supported our SRC in the past and hope that with future
fundraisers, we can start new projects soon.
We are currently experiencing a large number of sick children still attending school.
If your child is unwell please keep them at home until this illness has passed.
