Principal’s Report
What a fun start back to Term 3 with both Field and Track Carnivals in the one
week. School spirit is high with lots of encouragement and cheering.
Lost Property
Are you missing any jumpers, hats or uniforms? Our Lost Property is
overflowing with hats, jumpers and other uniform pieces. Any lost property
with names clearly marked are returned to students when found. Please check
lost property located outside the staffroom for uniforms missing from home.
Lots of jumpers and hats were found all over the playground by our wonderful
General Assistant Keith Latta over the holidays. He has kindly washed and
returned them to lost property. If lost property is still full after a certain
amount of time, we wash items with no names and put in second hand
clothing or donate to local charity clothing bins. Please make sure all pieces
of clothing are clearly marked before coming to school so items can be
returned if found.

Boys PSSA Football Team (Soccer)
On the last day of Term 2, the Boys Football team played their Round 5 match vs Wyrallah Road Public School. In wet and cold conditions, the boys played their hearts out. With no extra players, all 11 of the boys played a full game. We had chances to score but weren't able to get the ball over the line and ultimately lost the game.
The effort, determination and courage shown by all 11 players was simply amazing. I am so proud of the achievements and teamwork shown over the 5 games this year. The team were such a rewarding group of players to coach and I thoroughly enjoyed every training session and game. The results we achieved were due to the team’s spirit.
A huge thank you to all of the parents who helped out, taking the boys to games and cheering along. Without your support we would not have been able to do what we did. You battled wind, rain, cold days and very short turn around in game schedules. Thank you very much.

Superstars Obstacle Course - 14 September
We are excited to be holding this event again in 2019 - this time in conjunction
with Wollongbar Community Preschool. It will be a fantastic day of fun with an
obstacle course (designed with assistance from Edge Fitness Alstonville) set up
with challenges for kindy kids and adults alike, including a colour run to
complete the event.
Keep going with food/drink from the coffee van and BBQ. Keep the kids happy
with face painting and arts and craft activities (free, thanks to our sponsors)
If it's sunny, stay sun safe. If it rains, we'll get muddy! Cost and registration
information will be available soon.
We love our volunteers
The P&C would like to thank all our volunteers for their generous
donation of time and skills week in, week out.
Do you know someone who helps and deserves recognition? Please
