Program details

PROGRAM FORMAT 12 weeks part time. 8 hours of class each week. Ideally, participants will be given one work day off each week to attend class.

TEACHERS & MENTORS Program teachers are experienced coders and specialists in their respective fields. It is expected that senior employees from your company will give some time to mentor students.

IDEAL STUDENTS The ideal student is ambitious, intelligent and driven. Being passionate about technology and the ability to take risks is advantageous.

CHOOSING SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS An application and interview process to enable Coder Factory and stakeholders to choose the best candidates.

Personas and wireframes

6 Agile development, developer tools Metrics

7 Payment systems APIs

Pitching your idea to stakeholders and potential customers

8 Deployment Infrastructure

Social media strategies, digital marketing, growth hacking

9 Begin building final project Product management. Working with developers

10 Optimisation, search engines Usability testing

11 Introduction to testing. Debugging techniques Pitch preparation

12 The future of technology Final pitch of applications to management

Who is Coder Factory?

Coder Factory is a technology and entrepreneurship college for business owners and professionals.

Participants in our programs come to us from many different backgrounds and careers. They are motivated, driven individuals with ideas to make improvements in their work, the businesses they run (or work for) and solve problems for the communities they live in.

Coder Factory’s experienced educators are passionate about technology and the power it gives those who understand it and can create it.
