The people is joyful, friendly, homely, that works hard, with hope, solidary, confident, studious, smart, skillful

Other of the main aspects is the geography of the country

One of the most awesome is «Caño Cristales», called The River of Seven Colors, located in Department of Meta, in eastern plains of Colombia.

Food Diversity

Our country has an enormous diversity in food. We enjoy of fruits and vegetables that many countries not have.

Biodiversity WildlifeColombia is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. We have 21% of bird species in the world, 17% of amphibians, 8% of freshwater fish, 8% of reptiles, 16% of butterflies and 10% of mammals among others.

Rich in mineralsColombia has a geological mining potential resource, which makes it possible to exploit a wide range of mining products of economic importance, such as:

Coal: fifth largest exporter.Precious metals and stones: gold, silver, platinum and emeralds, which are recognized worldwide for its quality and beauty.Metallic minerals: nickel, copper, iron, manganese, lead, zinc and titanium.Nonmetallic minerals: Land salt, sea salt, gravel, sand and clay Among Others
