Get ready for this year’s summer reading program“A Midsummer Knight’s READ”

starting Monday, June 6 at 1:00 p.m.Fairies, dragons, knights & nobles will

inhabit the Library this summer.

Kids and teens may register in the YouthServices department. Registrationmaterials will be available on the tables.Readers will keep track of the time theyspend reading by coloring in a box on theirreading log for every 15 minutes that theyread, are read to, or that they read to anyone else. Readerswill be asked to record one title that they read for each fivehours turned in. If you read more than one picture book in agiven hour, you can choose your favorite. If you are readingchapter books, it’s okay to put the same title down morethan once.

Arthur and Camelot come alive again! This puppet showintroduces a great literary legend to its audiences. Arthur is thestar, but the scene stealer is Merlin whose magical miscues turnsmiles into laughter as he saves Arthur from the Sir Sagamor.

Jason’s comedy and juggling are what sets his act apartfrom other entertainers. Be prepared to laugh all nightand don’t worry, he hardly ever drops the knives he juggles!
