2018-2019 AP STATISTICS SUMMER PACKET

Welcome to AP Statistics! The purpose of this assignment is for students to review

the skills that are expected before starting the course and to gain understanding

of basic statistical concepts. Please read through the packet and complete all

problems. This packet will be collected and graded the first day of class. Please

know that no late assignments will be allowed to be submitted after the first day

of class.

This is as much a writing course as it is a math course! Explaining your work in

complete sentences is required on this assignment and throughout the course. A

graphing calculator (TI- 83, TI-83 +, TI-84, or TI-84+) is necessary for this

class. You can use a graphing calculator to help you complete this packet.

Start this summer assignment early to allow for time to receive clarification (if

necessary) to complete. If you have any questions or concerns while completing
