WOODN IS AN EVOLUTIONARY LEAP

IN OUR WAY OF “FEELING” A SURFACE, OF IMAGINING AND TRULY “LIVING” A PLACE.INNOVATIVE AND COMPARABLE ONLY TO ITSELF, IT BLENDS STRENGTH WITH FLEXIBILITY, DURABILITY WITH VERSATILITY, AND BEAUTY WITH ECOLOGY. Woodn comes from the research and fusion of eco-compatible high quality recycled materials: noble wood fibres - purified and regenerated - and polymers - again noble and regenerated. Through fusion and extrusion, the grain obtained gives rise to the finished (yet infinite) product.

woodn is02SELF-EXTINGUISHINGWoodn is a class 1 material. It meets all requirements of regulations UNI 8457/87, UNI 8457/A1/96, and EN13501_1 class Bfl-S1.

RESISTANT TO WOODWORM AND PARASITES Woodn resists destruction by woodworm, fungi and parasites in general.

EMISSION-FREE Woodn does not release formaldehyde and is free from other harmful substances and heavy metals.

WATER RESISTANT Woodn resists water problem-free and is recommended for outdoor use or very humid places.

COMPATIBLE WITH FLOOR HEATINGWoodn is fully compatible with floor heating and optimizes energy efficiency.

STABLEThe original dimensions of Woodn are not altered by gradual or sudden temperature and humidity changes.

THERMOFORMABLEWoodn bends but does not break. It can be thermoformed to adapt to curves and complex surfaces.

ECOLOGICAL AND ECO-SUSTAINABLEWoodn is fully eco-sustainable. It is made up of recycled and almost indefinitely recyclable materials and requires very little energy for production.

WORKABLEWoodn is coloured in paste and grain form, and can be worked and coloured exactly like wood: cutting, plotting, and surface oiling.

ANTISTATICWoodn is totally antistatic for complete safety and personal wellbeing.

Woodn ornans two-faced technical cladding has been designed to provide an optimum interpretation of the demands of contemporary architecture and interior design. Light yet thick with variable densities and easy to lay, it can be used on any flat or curved surface, and even combined with other materials, such as metals, fabrics and stones.

Woodn ornans compositus is the new special collection that reviews the concept of the mosaic in an innovative key, exploring and developing the infinite potential of Woodn to the full. In addition to standard square and rectangular tiles, made-to-measure, customised formats are also available that simply cannot be produced with any other traditional material. Offered in three different types: Base and Planks, sheet measuring 32.1 x 32.1 cm, featuring tiles of various sizes assembled onto a mesh; Mikado, base sheet 32.1 x 42.8 cm; and slim bars measuring 96x0.925 cm.

Woodn ornans, is available in planks measuring 100 or 33 mm. It can be thermoformed at wide or acute angles to cover even the most complex surfaces, literally going beyond material limits. Colours and shapes can be alternated, using both sides at will smooth and ribbed: for absolute freedom of design and composition. The wide range of accessories, including profiles for skirting boards, edging, internal and external corners, completes a collection that features flexibility as a key focus.

Woodn ornans compositus uses a virtually unlimited “system” of modular multiple and sub-multiple components as a main strength. With variable, modular sizes that can all be fitted together, the three Woodn ornans compositus collections – Base, Planks and Mikado – go well beyond the limits of traditional mosaics, experimenting in new design horizons.It is fully compatible with Woodn ornans and can be used alongside it in an infinite variety of solutions. Different shapes and materials can be combined and inlaid, even within a single sheet. Maximum freedom to cover surfaces of all sizes.Surprising colour matches enhanced by the differing grains of the tiles, going beyond simple “decoration” to create an original, warm interpretation of contemporary space.Flexible and resistant to damp, Woodn ornans compositus can also be used on floors with little pedestrian traffic and in difficult environments such as showers and Turkish baths.

Woodn ornans is freedom of choice. Available as three different options:- guided: Woodn suggests an appropriate solution, you simply choose plank colour;- semi-modular: Woodn suggests a system based on modules chosen at the designer’s will;- free: the designer creates his own pattern and chooses the colours (which can be customised for large-scale production). Planks are produced to measure.
