Working in three dimensions gives her the space to use a plethora of different materials, from gold and silver, to silk and linen and pearls and gemstones. Guest Artist: Denise Hoover Denise’s work is about “the here and now”. She uses materials and surfaces that present themselves to her. Color is an important force for her both singularly and in multiplicity. Her large paintings and mixed media work will be displayed with Karen’s work in the rehabbed Old Armory Building in Woodstock.
