Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of
our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and
physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence.
Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken
bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find
lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all
your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who
believed. Amen.
Our children's choir will be singing Sunday, September 25th
at the 11:00 mass. We will practice in the church on
Tuesday, September 13th and 20th from 5:30-6:15.
Children's ages 4-12 are invited to participate. Please con-
tact Cherie Prentiss for more info.

Dear St. Mary Parishioners,
Thank you so much for your prayers and support as I have transitioned from
parish youth minister and prepared to dive deeper into my discernment of
religious life. This past Tuesday, September 6th, 2016 I moved to the Mater
Redemptorist House of Formation in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I will live in the
home for a year with the exception of Christmas break here on the coast.
During my time in the home I will learn the rhythms of religious life, volunteer in
the local diocese and visit different communities. This unique opportunity
would not have been possible without each of you supporting me along the
way. Know that each of you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers
each day. Please continue to keep me and the other women in the home in
your prayers along with the seminarians of our diocese and all those
discerning the priesthood and religious life. May the angels protect you and the
saints guide you!
God Bless, Katherine Lingenfelder
