Take a document in Storage and put a copy in Memory

Take a document (usually in memory) and put a copy of it usually on paper
Edit a DocumentEdit a Document
Modify a document that is in memory by:– Adding more to it– Removing some of it– Changing part of it
Common InterfaceCommon Interface
Most Microsoft office applications use common command methods.– The menus look alike– The tasks are similar– Thus learning one application shows you how
to perform with another application.
Common Hot KeysCommon Hot Keys
Short cut command keys are consistent from one application to the next– For example Ctrl-C copies a block of text
Ctrl-V pastes a block of text Ctrl-P prints a document Ctrl-N starts a new document
