Changing Text size Before Typing Text

– Click Font Size Box Arrow– Select font size (e.g., 16)

After Typing– Select Text– Click Font Size Box Arrow– Select font size

Show/Hide Paragraph Mark For non-printing characters

Word-wrap No need to press enter at end of line

Blank Lines press enter at beginning of line

Spell Check

Checks as you type Red wavy line when misspelled Right-click over word for possible

spellings

View -> Headers and Footer– Right align text– Name– Page Number– Font size 12

First Line Indent

Before typing first paragraph: Drag First-Line Indent Marker to .5”

AutoCorrect

Footnotes

Click location in text body to insert note Insert -> FootNote

To change footnote text style: (click in footnote text) Format -> Style
