It will be nice to see that Warrumbungle’s should be on the list because it is a natural and cultural site for the traditional owners
The landscape is big and marvellous from the volcanic fields forming the butter knife and the strange rocks
The land there is a lot of wild species there like eagles, mice, echidnas, emus, snakes, Kangaroos, wallabies, possums, Dingoes where living there
but they extinct now
And it is filled with vegetation like the firing pork bush The plants gum trees, the band aid plant they use for band aids back in the dayThere Is a creek that has a lot of yabbies and leeches bugs and fishes and turtles
Located in Central NSW, Warrumbungle Region is 5-6 hours drive from Sydney, half way between Melbourne and Brisbane, and within 2 hours drive of the regional cities of Dubbo and Tamworth.
it gets quite cold in the winter and gets hot in the summer and gets stormy in February and January
In the Pilliga there are sculptures of the dreamtime and down the Gorge there is a upside cliff and on the other side of the upside down creek there are sharp rocks that were made out of axes and spears from rock carving and there will be carved trees and cave art around the area
The bread knife is the easiest thing to see but it is very huge when you get closer to it
