Furniture & Furnishing jobs - The works are to be carried out strictly as per the drawings

and designs provided. The contractor will be required to submit the PERT Chart for completing

the jobs.. This is the prestigious project and has to be carried out on fast Track basis. The time

of Completion will be the essence of this project. The costing of the commodities is based on the

CPWD/DSR 2012-14 or Market rates Analysis. The contractors will be required to get the

samples checked and approved by the consultant/Architect. The approved usage of the

materials will only be permitted, the failure, if found will lead to the either the imposition of the

penalty or the restructuring of the commodity as per the given specification. This will be the sole

prerogative of theARCHITECT/CONSULTANT FOR WHICH THE CONTRCTOR/VENDOR has no

right by whatsoever means to seek the intervention of court etc as this will be treated as the

infringement of the Articles of the Tender specifications regarding the usage of material.

Furnishing and Furniture work:

1 Low Height Storage / Base Cabinet: - This should be made in accordance with the

design provided. This comprises of 19mm Commercial board, 9 mm Commercial Ply,

molding margins of 1st class, made up of steam beach wood and the laminate of 1mm

thickness. The basic frame is to be made up of 19mm Board, while the back portion of

the cabinet facing the dead wall is to have 9mm thick Commercial Ply . The base

cabinet is to have Drawers of 7’’ height (or as shown in the drawing) while 16'' Deep,

these are to run on the Telescopic Channels. The lower end of the front of the

cabinet(beneath the drawers) is to have shutters of 19mm thick block Board. The

height of these being not less than 18’’.(or as shown in the drawing) in the front. The

inside portion having a depth of 16’’, should have provision of adjustable horizontal

Partition, made up of 19mm block board. Internal portions should be finished by

adhering 0.8mm thick Laminate of approved Color. The rates include proper composite

finishing of the commodity

Area facing the dead wall) . Provision for internal Divider with in the storage unit are to

be made by using 19mm thick ply of approved made. The Height of the storage unit

should not be less than 7’ from the ground level. All the Hardware such as 6” Handles

,Tower bolt , Latches, Magnet catcher, Locks etc should be of SS Finish . The exposed

external surfaces of the cabinet will be finished by 1mm thick Laminate of approved

make color /shade while the internal surfaces will be finished by using 0.8mm thick

laminate of approved made. All the works are to be finished to the satisfaction of the

Architect/Consultant. The mode of measurement will be done by calculating the front

finished surface area ( width x height)

7 SWO Counter/front counter: - This should be made in accordance with the design

composite finishing of the commodity as per the design specifications provided which

includes all the materials requisites required in the fabrication of the commodity. The

counter comprises of 1 base cabinet measuring 18” x 24” x 30”(in inches).The base

cabinet in this case has 2 drawers of 7 inches each running on telescopic channels

while the shutter hanging on Earl Bihari hinge. Hardware made up of SS Like Hinges,

4’’ Handles, Locks of Godrej etc are to be provided .The counter top is laid on the base

cabinets at a height of 30 inches from floor level .The width of the counter top rangers

from 27 inches to 30 inches, as recommended by the architect. Footrest, space for UPS,

provision of necessary hardware etc. are the part to be kept in mind while fabricating

8 Cash cabin Partition: Front Partition: - The specification is similar to that of the half

height partition. The significant difference is that the front part of the partition will be

having 12” thick block to give 18” wide counter top at the height of 46” from the ground

level. This top is to have 19mm thick telephonic black granite or as suggested by the

Architect, laid on it, having double molding on its edges. The area above the counter

top will be having a clear slit of 3”above which there will be 10mm thick plain float

glass having etching work on it. The rates include the fixing charges of the partition

and finishing the work as per the design given and to the complete satisfaction of the

architect/Consultant. The Height of the Partition from the Ground Level will be 84’’

9 Cash Counter: - The Linear length of the front running cash counter is to be divided

in two Compartments, As shown the base unit of each cash counter compartment is to

have 3 drawers of equal size running on telescopic channels & having individual

locking system. Each drawer should have a proper segregation in its internal part made

up of 12mm ply. These segregated areas are used for keeping different types of

currency. The back part of the drawer should have MS Sheet of 6 mm thick adhered for

safety & sandwiched in a manner to be invisible with the naked eye. Providing footrest,

keyboard tray running on telescopic channels, CPU Trolley etc is part of the fabrication.

The exposed areas of this module are required to have 1mm thick laminate adhered to

it , as shown in the Drawing.. The rates include fixing of Hardware Margin ,Molding,

10 Server Counter: - The basic composition of Server counter resembles to that of the

table. Having linear length of 4'. The base cabinet of this module will be of

18"x24"x30".This will be made up of 19mm Block board. Two Drawers running on the

Telescopic channels (Make Ozone/Hettich/Ebco) and one shutter hanging on Earl

bihari Hinges with internal adjustable portion (made up of 19mm Block board) will be

the basic formulation of the module . A 19mm Block board of the size 4'x2' will than be

11 Paneling: - It is done by using 1”x1” thick Kail wood webbed horizontally & vertically in

12 Paneling in ATM - The walls in the ATM are to be covered by Paneeling. This Panelling

will be carried out by using 1X1inch Tubular sections made up of Aluminium having

required thickness. These are webbed as per the design given and required by the
