MESSAGE

Dear Mr. Leifi

I am a prospector and hold a complimentary licence # R 1220.

I wish to confirm that samples were taken from Fern Elizabeth property which consists of approximately over 150 claims.

These samples, taken before trenching, were mostly grab samples.Therefore, after trenching was done, several chip samples were taken. ' .. . . . ..... .. .-. .., .... .. ...,. ....... . .... . . ..-.. , . ,. .

Due to the fact that Fern Elizabeth property is situated in wilderness area, limited samples were taken due to usage of airplane transportation.

Mr. Bob Moffattc/o Bob Moffatt Supply Ltd.Mackenzie St. E.Atikokan, OntarioPOT ICO

Dear Bob:

I have recently received assay results from the samples that John Scott and I collected during our visit to the Elizabeth Mine in September, 1979, The results are as follows:

Sample No.

1 (volcanic host)2 (quartz vein)3 (quartz vein)4 (granite host)5 (granite host)6 (granite host)7 (quartz vein)

Au(ozXT) Ag(oz7T) CuU) PbU) Z n(l)

0.0020.003TraceTrace0.0020.003Trace

0.0140.0020.0030.0020.003Trace0.004

These results are not promising. However, we dominantly tested the host rocks, since the vein material was poorly exposed at the time of our visit. Therefore, only 3 samples of vein material were assayed. These results do indicate, however, that the mineralization does not extend into the volcanic or granitic host rocks. We would like to visit the Elizabeth Mine again at your convenience, now that the exposure has improved.

If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

C. R. (Rob) LarsenGeologistNorth Central RegionTelephone: (807) 475-1331
