Live+Work Community
The Living+Working Community project combines both l iving and working programs under the same roof to create a more streamlinedlifestyle. This l i festyle would increase productivityby reducing commute time and allowing more timeat home. Adding the third program of a grocery store to the retail space allows for this cohesion to become more immersive. These three programsact together to create an optimal l iving and working environment.

Sun study is a critical look at the influence of natural l ighting on the design process. As a project for one of our environmental controls classes we were asked to document and study natural l ighting at particular times of the year. From this study I learned the techniques of analyzing natural l ighting to informdesign decision making.

Perspective Rendering Elevation Rendering
As a further elaboration of the Living+Learning Community Project, the Work+Live Tower Project addresses the same goals of an optimized l i festyle on a new scale. With this new scale, a physical medium is introduced to reconcile the transition from working to l iving environments inthe form of a exterior bridge. The building twists tophysically and symbolically blend the two programswhile the static horizontal ity of the exterior bridges creates contrast, tension, and sense of solidity in the physical ity of the structure as well as the relationship of the programs within it.

Mountainscape
Project Mountainscape was built upon the idea ofcreating an architectural obelisk derived from a natural source. This obelisk would serve to free theskyline from traditional form while representing modernity, progress, growth, and a connection with nature.

Personal Project
The rooftop oasis project was not only a learningtool for photo-realistic rendering and post productiontechniques but a look at the util ization of the cityscapeas an actor within the scene. Through this process I sought to create relationships between the city and thescene by util izing reflections and creating contrast through positive and negitive relationships between organic and inorganic forms.
