MEANING :

It deals with the techniques of method study and work measurement------- For

best possible use of human, machine and material.

OBJECTIVE :

Finding better ways of doing work.

Avoiding waste.

Give the ways to obtain the optimum use of human, machine and

material for accomplish the goal.

1. Most effective use of plant and equipment.

3. Evaluation of human work.

Method study : Concerned with the finding the facts about a situation and after

a critical examination of these facts and developing a new and better methods of

doing the work.

Time study : Concerned with the establishment of time standards for qualified

workers to perform a specific job.

Method study must preceed time study before any attempt is made to measure.
