• We know that will be an increase in the demand for support due to more people and the ageing of the people

What happens now?
• Health Education Kent, Surrey and Sussex are holding a workforce event on the 9th of July 2014. All providers of NHS funded learning disability nursing services are welcome
• I have written a workforce report recommending a numbers of changes that will need to be made to the way the number and education of staff takes place. This will be published soon
