Oswald the Lucky Rabbit

He was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. Walt Disney was

distributing the films to Universal Studios, later stole the rights to Oswald.

The first animated short with Mickey in it was titled, Plane Crazy. But where it really succeeded was in Steamboat Willie.
