Workplace Labels Required:

On controlled products produced and used in the workplace,

if the label becomes illegible.

If material received from a supplier is transferred to another container*

*not required if transferred material is used in its entirety prior to the end of the work shift

Workplace Labels

Agent Green

Do not have provide detailed information. They are often placed on small containers. They indicate:

• Product name

• Precautions• Reference to MSDS

What is MSDS?..

Material Safety Data Sheets• Detailed information about

hazardous materials stored in the office

• Must be provided by supplier• Must be accessible to ALL

workers in the workplace• Must be kept up to date• Must be made available to

doctor in the event of exposure
