STRATEGY ELEMENT I – Waste to Energy & Energy Services segment

Recycling companies and local politicians are presently being lured

into short sighted, long-lasting and for them expensive solutions

for final treatment of organic waste.

Development of large waste based district heating systems involves:

• Trenches filled up with a conglomerate ofinfrastructure

• Taps public budgets not counted for inCon.analysis

• Long lasting disturbance in the society

• Slow down on entrepreneur ship

• Heavy investments

STRATEGY ELEMENT II - Energy services

Chips and sawdust are voluminous commodities and expensive to store and transport,is difficult to handle/burn and hence creates negative attitudes towards bio based fuel

Oil Companies did not build a heating market with crude oil

Farmers & forest owners may be good at what they are doing, but will never be able to build an energy business based on Forest Residues

Green chips and logging residues are not a suitable energy carrier in an energy market that is not used to spills, dust and farm tractors in urban settings

Wet fuel reduces boiler efficiency and increases fuel consumption compared to dried value-added fuel. Buying fuel measured in bulk m3 is a gamble regarding actual energy cost CU/kWh.

We have to build a logistic chain as close to the oil business as possible.

That means dry, compressed and well presented BIOENERGY
