EXCELLENT WORKFORCE

Germany has 108 universities, 103 colleges and 210 universities of applied sciences (UAS).

Almost 70,000 engineers and over 67,000 mathematicians and natural scientists graduated in 2011.

A combination of on and off-the-job training reduces hiring and training costs, thus minimizing recruitment risks.

Vocational schools closely cooperate with ca. 470,000 companies in Germany.

The focus is determined by specific industry needs.

The GACC South was founded in 1978 to promote and support bilateral trade between Germany and the United States. We are a private, non-profit organization and serve as the official representative of German trade in the southeastern US.
