Workshop topics: •Physical characteristics of infants/ children •Crash dynamics overview •Car seat types •Weight and height limits •Correct usage of seats •Demonstration of proper installation •Common misuse of safety seats •When to graduate to the next seat •Upcoming car seat check-up events Register online by visiting www.safekidstulsa.com and clicking on Child Passenger Safety/Car Seat Workshops or call 918-494- SAFE. *Registration required (available in English only). LOCATION: Health Zone 5353 East 68 th Street Tulsa, OK 74136 DIRECTIONS: From Yale: Turn east on 68 th Street and follow road. Destination will be on your left. From 71 st Street: Turn north on Canton Avenue, then right on 68 th Street. Destination will be on your left. If you are in need of a car seat, and are on government assistance, you may attend this workshop to receive a car seat for $10. Proof of government assistance and $10 (cash only) must be provided at the time of the workshop. The car seat may then be picked up at a future car seat check up event of your choice. Please note that convertible car seats are used for expectant parents and infants. Adults only in the workshop - no children.
