Lync integration, extending communication from PCs to

more UC endpoints1. Lync 2013 plug-in can be installed on Lync

2013.

2. Lync provides the IM function, and other

functions such as voice and conference are

implemented using Lync plug-in.

3. Lync plug-in provides the following functions:

Voice and video calls

Instant conference

Phone status synchronization

Service configuration

Historical record management

IP phone control

Directory search

4. Before using Lync plug-in, Huawei UC accounts

must be available.

An enterprise that has deployed the Lync system

can deploy the Huawei UC server and install the

Lync plug-in.

Scenario 5: Conference recording

Application scenario

Automatic recording upon a call start

Manual recording with a button press on the endpoint

Customer benefits

Traceable call contents, providing basis for service

quality evaluation

Major features

The IP PBX invites the recording system ("listen

only") as a user to a three-party conference for

recording.

The recording server can be deployed on the same

host as the IMP server/SIP server when the number

of concurrent recording channels is smaller than 256

(non-encrypted) or 200 (encrypted).
