Cervical cancer - 75% of all cervical cancers are preventable with annual PAP

Osteoporosis - 1.5 million people will have fractures annually due to osteoporosis.

-Early detection and treatment can decrease risk of fractures

-Bone scans should be performed as part of annual physical on

patients older than 65

Colon Cancer – 27,259 women die each year from colon cancer. If detected early, colon cancer is one of the most treatable cancers there is. It is recommended that you have a screening colonoscopy at age 50.

Stroke – 55,000 more women than men have strokes each year

At your initial on-site clinical

consultation, you will be offered

on-site lab testing; given an

extensive health history

assessment; scheduled for a

physical examination and signed

up for DMC’s exclusive Friends

& Family program.

How Worksite Wellness Works

On the day of your scheduled

exam, you will be picked up at

your work site by DMC

transportation and taken to our

conveniently located Health and

Wellness Center office located at

Campus Martius.

At the end of your visit, DMC

Transportation will return you

back to work.
