We feel honoured to invite you and your colleagues to WCABHU-2019 at Banaras HinduUniversity, a premier institution of the country. It was founded by Bharat Ratna Pt Madan MohanMalviya ji in 1916, under Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915 and funded by Central Govtof India. BHU is the largest campus-university of Asia. The University comprises of 6 Institutes,14 Faculties, 140 Departments, 4 Inter disciplinary Centers, a constituent college for women, 3Schools and Four affiliated Degree Colleges. It has 40,000 students and 3,000 teachers. Thejourney of health education started at BHU, as an Ayurvedic unit in Faculty of Oriental learningand Sanskrit in 1919, followed by an Ayurvedic college in 1927, PGIIM in 1963 and now asFaculty of Ayurveda under Institute of Medical Sciences. It carries teaching and research at

BHU is an expert driven Institution infield of Ayurveda with basic aim is to developancient knowledge with contemporary ModernMedicine along with other Biological and EarthSciences. The focal theme of WCABHU-2019 isto “Develop evidence based Ayurvedicmedicines and procedures. It will bring thelatest improvements in fast-moving areas ofhealth care, covering all aspects of theory,research and application to develop new
potential outcome in health care, earlydiagnosis, awareness for preventive measuresand combined therapy by psychosomaticmodulation and medicine. This will give anopportunity to interact with experts fromnursing, nutritionists and yogic practices alongwith basic biological-scientists and doctors ofAllopathic system of medicine.
The scientific programme has beendesigned to encourage translational researchfor expanding the horizon of knowledge inmedical biology to develop new drugs, betterprocedures, sound understanding of

pathogenesis, novel targets for therapy andmany more aspects towards holistic approachof health management. It is aimed to coverthe basic concepts of Ayurveda, Allopathy,Siddha, Unani, Homeopathy, Naturopathy alongwith Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM),T ibeten medicine and Campo medicine ofJapan to develop a strong base with commonterminology to fulfill the aims and objectivesof World Health Organization (WHO) for “healthfor all”.
Besides the medicines, the role of lifestyle, diet, mental-health, spirituality andprocedures in health care will be discussed.All the proposed sessions will accommodateliterary, basic and clinical researches in formof guest lectures, panel discussions, oral andposter presentations. The selected papers willbe published in proceedings as ISBN numberedbook.
We are also organizing an exhibition“AYUSHMAN INDIA EXPO-2019”. It will showcasevarious aspect of Health care, Wellness,Industrial inputs, plants cultivation, Life styleproducts, with an aim to bring awareness andalso to educate for better businessopportunities which is in association withPeople’s Foundation.
Further, A student oriented AssociateEvent namely ‘AYUSH PRAGYA’ is also beingorganized at the same time Besides Science,we shall also take care about the tourism andspiritual aspect of participants. The Kashi isthe oldest living city of the world, the domeLord Shiva having temple of Kashi- Vishwanath,one of 12 Jyotirlinga. Here, River Ganges flowsin North direction (Uttarvahini).
The Sarnath, a prominent place forBuddhism is in Varanasi, where Lord Buddhagave the 1st preaching to his 5 disciples, who
spread it all over the world. The Kashi hasbeen a prominent seat of learning andspirituality since ages. Lord Dhanwantaripreached the science of Health and MaharshiCharak and Sushruta documented thisknowledge. It is said that staying in Kashi ortaking a dip in river Ganga, washes off all thesins of life and strengthens the path ofsalvation (liberation of Atma from the “viciouscycle of life and death” i.e Moksha). The Kashihas been the seat of classical music and dancewhere traditional Gharana are still active andinvolved in musical performances. Varanasi hasalso been identified as a place for InternationalHealth tourism and a business hub by theGovt. of India.
The season of Varanasi, in March, will bepleasant with moderate temperature of 25 Cwithout any humidity. You will be enjoying thistrip, by hybridizing learning, spirituality andtourism. Guidelines for submission of abstractThe abstracts are invited in the areas covered in the conference. The contents of abstract should include background, objectives, methods, results and conclusions. The title should be in capital and in bold followed by name of authors (with rst name rst, then middle name followed by family name) and their institutional address with email address of the corresponding author. Do not append degrees, professional designations, etc to names. The name of presenting author should be underlined. The abstract should be typed using Microsoft Word (Times New Roman, font size 12 and 1.5 pt. spacing between lines, limit 300 words). Abbreviations used in the body of an abstract should be dened at their rst mention in the text. Abstract should be sent preferably through website www.bhu.ac.in/seminar/march2019 ; email to [email protected]
Abstract will be considered for presentation, only if they are accompanied by registration fee of presenting author. Normally only one paper th is allowed per author, unless prior permission of organizers is taken. Last date for the abstract submission is 15 February 2019. All presenters
must ll REGISTRATION FORM and send to organizers. If an abstract is accepted and Presenter does not register, the abstract will be withdrawn.

The time limit will be strictly adhered to LCD projectors for use of MS Power Point slides in Windows 7 computers provided. Presenters should be present at the venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the session and are expected to stay till the end of the session.
Guidelines for poster presentation
Posters size should not exceed 4x3 ft (LxB). Presenters should mount their posters in the assigned area at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the session and are expected to be present besides the posters throughout the poster session. Posters should be dismounted immediately after the end of the session.Note – Select the area of the presentation from the list given above.

Cancellationth Requests will be considered until 20 Feb, 2019. If cancelled, 50% refund will be processed only after the conference.
Financial assistanceThe participants facing nancial constraints may apply to the Organizing Secretary for partial waivers.

About Expo
Peoples’ Foundation is proud to organize AYUSHMAN INDIA EXPO 2019 on the subject of AYUSH in association with the faculty of Ayurveda, Banarash Hindu University from 14th to 16th March 2019. The history of medical education in Varanasi, the oldest living city in the world and the cultural capital of India, is at least 2500 years old. It was here that the great Indian Surgeon Sushruta lived and practiced medicine and surgery around the 5th century B.C. and also compiled his treatise, the Sushruta Samhita. In view of this perspective it was but natural that medical education would become one of the priorities of the then developing Banaras Hindu University way back in 1920s. Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the illustrious founder of Banaras Hindu University, had the vision of integrating the best of Ayurvedic and modern systems of medicine.
AYUSHMAN INDIA EXPO 2019 will keep spotlight on various aspects of health & wellness such as Ayurvedic products\medicines manufacturers, organic farming and products, organic food & supplements, health & nutrition, tness equipment and regiments, retreats and spa, hospitals & labs, academics, Research & Development institutions, bio energy products manufacturers, medicinal plants, biological clothing and lifestyle products and services.

Call for Papers The Journal of Research and Education in Indian Medicine (JREIM) is a quarterly peer-reviewed international journal. JREIM
was established and launched in 1982 by a group of eleven academicians and researchers of Ayurveda and allied disciplines
under the dynamic leadership of Padamshree Prof. K. N. Udupa, the then Professor Emeritus, IMS, BHU and Ractor, Banaras
Hindu University, Varanasi (India) . The journal aims to disseminate important researches and theoretical works in AYUSH
(Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Homeopathy, Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Integrative
Medicine, Traditional Medicine and Oriental System of Medicine to the educators, researchers, scientists, specialists and
general therapists around the world.
The inaugural issue (Jan.-March 1982) of JREIM was released by Dr. Sombhong Kutranon, Regional Director, W.H.O
during International Conference on “Role of Practitioners of Indian Medicine in Primary Health Care, 20-22 February 1982”
at Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP, India. JREIM maintains highest academic
standards, as eminent academicians and researchers of India and abroad, with extensive editorial experiences in the field
of Medicine and allied sciences are contributing their academic services to it for last over three decades.

research papers or Review articles covering all aspects of Clinical and experimental research, Research on Medicinal plants,
