For the little runners who want to get into the action, the runDisney Kids’ Races will give them the chance to earn his or her own finisher medallion! Below are some important reminders for the runDisney Kids’ Races.

PARTICIPANTS• 12 months & under - Diaper Dash (crawlers only) • 1-3 years old - 100 meter dash• 4-6 years old - 200 meter dash• 7-8 years old - 400 meter dash• Up to age 13 – 1-Mile Run

PACKET PICK-UPAll participants receive a race number and event shirt, which may only be picked up at the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Expo at the Disneyland® Hotel. Participants in the 1-Mile run will also receive a Finisher Certificate and their ChronoTrack B-tag for race timing. Packet pick-up is available:

Please arrive to the Lower Exhibit Hall to pick up your race packet. Packet Pick-Up will not be available on race day.

PARTICIPANT WAIVERS A waiver must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian for each participant. The waiver will be available on the race website approximately one week before the race. Please download this form and bring it with you to the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Expo.

COMMEMORATIVE MICKEY EARSCommemorative Mickey Ears pre-purchased during registration will be distributed during race number pick-up. Those not picked up during Packet Pick-Up will not be mailed or refunded.

RACE INFORMATIONThe runDisney Kids’ Races will start at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in Disney California Adventure® Park. The morning will begin with the 1-Mile Run, followed by the 1-3 year old competitors, then the 4-6 year olds, and then the 7-8 year old athletes. The races will conclude with the exciting Diaper Dash for our crawling competitors! Each race will have its own start line, and all races will finish in Paradise Pier. Participants in the 1-Mile Run will stage in front of Soarin’ Over California. Diaper Dash participants will stage near Paradise Garden Grill. All other participants will stage in the Pacific Wharf. Please follow the signs and listen to the Race Announcer for exact instructions.

A special entrance, located between World of Disney® and La Brea Bakery in Downtown Disney® District, will be available to participants and spectators beginning at 7:15 a.m. Parents should bring their registered children to their staging area by 7:45 a.m. Any parents who wish to run with their children are encouraged to do so. The race will be held rain or shine!

SPECTATOR VIEWINGLots of spectator viewing is available for family and friends to watch, so bring your camera to capture these special memories!

BIB NUMBERSEach runner will be issued a bib number at Packet Pick-Up, and should wear their bib number on the front of their shirt. Participants in the 1-Mile Run will have a ChronoTrack B-Tag attached to the back of their bib to record their time. Do not remove, bend or break the ChronoTrack B-Tag. Please complete the Emergency Contact Information on the back of the bib. PARENT CLAIM PROCESSEach race bib will include a tear off tag with your child’s race number on it. Remove this tag from your child’s bib prior to their race. Present this tag at the conclusion of the race in order to leave the secure finish area with your child.

SAFETYFor the safety of all participants, baby joggers, strollers, baby carriers, baby backpacks, inline skates, motorized scooters, bicycles, skateboards, walking sticks and animals of any kind are prohibited from the course. Headphones are discouraged to ensure safety.

POST-RACE AREAAll registered finishers will receive a commemorative medallion at the Finish Line – those who choose to run with their kids will not receive a medallion. Refreshments will be available for registered participants after the Finish Line.

PHOTOGRAPHERS Brightroom photographers will be on the course and at the finish line taking pictures of participants during the race. Please be sure your child has their bib number on the front of their shirt and remind them to smile. Be sure to visit: http://www2.brightroom.com/disney2012 after the race to view race photos. Photos usually take 2-3 days to be loaded onto the site.

WEEKEND TRANSPORTATIONComplimentary Anaheim Transportation Network shuttles will depart from select Disneyland® Resort Good Neighbor Hotels to the Disneyland® Resort Esplanade Shuttle Drop-Off area every 20 minutes continuously through the weekend (1/27-1/29) during scheduled Tinker Bell Half Marathon weekend events. You will receive a receipt from your driver the first time you board the shuttle. Please save this ticket for use over the entire Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend.

DRIVING DIRECTIONSWe encourage all runners and their spectators to avoid traffic and parking by using the complimentary shuttles, which are provided free of charge. See the transportation shuttle map for pick-up and drop-off locations. For those who choose to drive, parking for all weekend events, including the Expo and the races, is available in the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, located off Disneyland Drive at Ball Road. Follow the signs for Theme Park Parking. Standard parking fees apply.
