MIAMI, FL February 9, 2017 – The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County proudly welcomes colossal piano superstar LANG LANG in Recital in the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall on Saturday, February 25, 2017 for one night only. Heralded as the “hottest artist on the classical planet!” by The New York Times, LANG LANG‘s highly-anticipated program will include a salute to the evocative music of Spain with works by Isaac Albeniz, Manuel de Falla, and Enrique Granados, featuring his most famous work, “Goyescas op. 11.” The program also features one of Debussy’s earliest works “Ballade” and Lizst’s emotionally charged “Piano Sonata in B minor S.178,” considered to be one of the composer’s greatest works for solo piano. LANG LANG in Recital marks the third concert of the 2016-2017 MASTERWORKS SEASON - MEIDAR AND ALFI FAMILY FOUNDATION CLASSICAL MUSIC SERIES at the Arsht Center.
