IntroductionDear Madam/Sir,

In representation of the Portuguese Shooting Federation (FPT) I am proud to announce that we are applying to organize the 2nd World Rimfire Championship in Lisbon next year (2016).

It is our commitment to make this a well organized sport event, hopping to welcome athletes around the world.

My name is António Churro, I am the FPT Director for this sport, with the responsibility of organizing this event.

Wednesday, 20th of July 2016 – Teams Event (3 targets)

Thursday, 21th of July 2016 – Teams Event (3 targets)

Friday, 22th of July 2016 – Individuals Event (3 targets)

Saturday, 23th of July 2016 – Individuals Event (3 targets)

ENTRY FEES:

Registration Fee Per Shooter For Team Event : 100 euros

The Shooting Range is located only 10kms from Lisbon's city center and right in the heart of the beautiful Jamor Valley, home of the Portuguese High Performance

Center. It is also located only 20kms from Lisbon's international airport.

The shooting range has 30x50m shooting lanes. The benches available have a steel structure and heavy wood tops.

During your stay, the arms and ammunitions will be kept at the shooting range in high security conditions, with 24h surveillance. The shooting range has also spaces

available for gun cleaning.

GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and lies on the north bank of the Tagus Estuary, on the European Atlantic coast. It is the westernmost city in continental Europe. Due to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, Lisbon has a pleasant climate throughout the year, sunshine is almost always a constant feature. The agreeable temperatures in the summer months are an open invitation for a walk by the river, or to spend an afternoon in one of the many street cafés to be found all over the city.
