Students generally stay in single rooms but double rooms may be available upon re-quest. Students also have the option of choo-sing full-board (3 meals/day) or half-board (2 meals/day) stays. A SC STUDY CENTERS staff member has personally visited the houses of all our host families; and SC STUDY CEN-TERS ’ host families live in safe, comfortable neighborhoods near the schools.

SC STUDY CENTERS schools in Europe offer single or double rooms in privately-owned fully- equipped, fully-furnished apartments. Students can choose between Standard and Comfort Apartments, depending on their budget and needs.

Standard apartments These apartments are ideal for the bud-get-orientated traveler. The apartments come with fully-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, and basic furniture. They are located either on campus or just a few minutes from the school. At some locations, students can book break-fast and meal plans for nominal fees. Comfort Apartments These apartments are generally larger with better furnishing and equipment. There is also more frequent cleaning service (usually twice a week). These apartments are located on campus or very close to the school. At some locations, students can book breakfast and meal plans for nominal fees.

resiDencesAt some locations SC STUDY CENTERS works with residences that are conveniently loca-ted close to the schools on foot or by public transportation. Students can request single or double rooms and share the common areas such as the kitchen, the bathroom and the living room. Our St Julians school offers beautiful on-site school residences.

Private aPartMents / stuDios

Private studios or apartments are perfect for students or families that seek, or need more privacy. SC STUDY CENTERS Malta provides onsite apartments while other SC STUDY CENTERS schools can assist with the book-ing of an apartment close to the school. All apartments come fully furnished with ensui-te bathrooms and cooking facilities. Breakfast or other meals and cleaning services are available at some locations for an additional cost.

Upon arrival, students will be met at the train station or airport by our welcome staff.

Orientation includes a walking tour of the town to locate services such as groceries, pharmacies, etc. Students will be provided with a handbook and a student discount card.

Every student is assigned an aca-demic advisor to serve as a helpful resource throughout the program. We do everything possible to ensure that students feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Meals are included in the price of your program, if required..

For those living on campus we provi-de three meals per day, seven days a week in the campus café. For those staying in homestays, the host family will provide two meals each day.

We offer this program to one student per semester, on a minimum of twenty students enrolled. It includes all tuition and accommodation for the duration of the program.

At SC STUDY CENTERS Frankfurt, languages are taught using a communicative approach which develops fluency in speaking, listening, reading and writing and ensures that the gram-mar, vocabulary and pronunciation components are applied to actual language use. Our teachers assess their students‘ learning needs and objectives on the first day, and then plan their lessons accordingly. In this way, our students are motivated to keep improving while the individual learning success is always taken into account.

Academic courses can also be combined with our University Placement Program. Apart from preparing students to pass the language examination necessary to study at a university in Germany, our placement coordinators will also help students choose and apply for the uni-versity and study program of their choice and offer detailed consultation on every aspect of the university enrolment process, including entry requirements, visa regulations, language preparation, accommodation, etc.
