3. CONNECTED BIBLE STUDY SERIES
Various Home Cell Groups (HCGs) in St Hilda's Church have just started the Connected series on the book of Ephesians. If you are currently not committed to a HCG, we strongly encourage you to take this opportunity to
visit one for just 6 weeks* and experience our church community. Participation workbooks worth $8 will be provided free of charge. Please sign up at the Info Desk or get in touch with the church office if you would like to take part in this Bible Study series with a HCG. *(6 weeks is how long it takes for a HCG that meets weekly to complete the series. If the HCG that you visit meets fortnightly, the series will end later.)

This module is for anyone who would like to begin to live their Christian life built on a strong foundation in Jesus Christ. There will be 8 useful lessons to help you make sense of living the Christian life. This module is also compulsory for those who would like to be baptised in St Hilda’s Church. The next baptism service is on 25 Dec. 2016.

St Hilda's Church is organizing a Service of Renewal of Marriage Vows (RMV) on *Sunday, 27 Nov.2016 for couples who
have been married for more than five years AND who… 1. were not originally married in church and wish to renew their vows before God, OR… 2. wish to seal and celebrate a breakthrough in their marriage, OR 3. wish to mark a significant milestone of their marriage in 2016.
There will be a stay-in Marriage Renewal Retreat from 18-20 Nov. 2016 (Fri-Sun) to prepare the couples to make the service as meaningful as possible. The Retreat and the Service will be conducted by our Vicar (on sabbatical) with the help of mentor couples.

last day with All Saints’ Church, Jakarta was 21 Sept.’16.
4. Rev Alan Wood has been appointed as Acting Vicar of All Saints’ Church, Jakarta with effect from 21 Sept.’16. 9. NEPAL MISSION OPPORTUNITY:
Pilot Project Taja Asa (ताजा आशा; Fresh Hope) Community Improvement Training (CIT) workshop organised by the Deanery of Nepal. We are looking for mission partners to form 2 teams of 6 for each workshop (total 12) to be facilitators in the upcoming mission to Nepal: i) CIT Workshop 2: 14 to 26 Jan.2017 Location: Choke (Nepal) ii) CIT Workshop 3: 11 -19 March 2017 Location: Pokhara (Nepal) Objective:
• To conduct leadership development
& disaster preparedness course for the village leadership teams within the Nepalese Anglican fraternity, as part of Project Taja Asa
• To instil Christian values, habits &
skills in the community leadership teams via foundational-level leadership & disaster preparedness training courses. Mission details:
• Conduct a 5 day CIT workshop
