Worship Pastor: Salaried; FTE REPORTS TO: Lead Pastor PRINCIPLE FUNCTION: The Minister of Worship is responsible for developing, overseeing, planning, coordinating, directing, evaluating meaningful worship services and supervising all paid & non-paid worship staff in conjunction with the mission and vision of Roseville Covenant. The Minister of Worship will also provide leadership to the RC Connecting Ministries. LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES: • Direct the planning, coordination, operation and evaluation of each worship service • Prayerfully design and prepare the weekly Orders of Worship for each service • Provide leadership and oversight of weekly and special Worship Services at RC • Provide leadership, mentoring and shepherding care over worship participants • Develop contemporary and life giving strategies for dynamic Connecting Ministries at Roseville Covenant Church CHEMISTRY, COMMITMENT AND COLLABORATION • Demonstrates personal commitment to the Mission, Values and Ministry Initiatives of RCC. • Active participant on the RCC Pastoral Team and fosters effective communication between Pastoral Team and the RCC Worship Ministry. • Participates in and provide leadership to the RCC Worship Missional Team. • Supervise and support the Worship Coordinator. • Supervise and support the Choir Director. • Supervise and support other part-time musicians and worship staff. • Supervise and support volunteer vocalists and musicians, Sound & Light Techs QUALIFICATIONS: • Active and growing faith in Jesus Christ • B.A. in Worship, Music or related field of study (minimum) • Recent “hands on” experience in worship and music ministry • Interest, experience and leadership in developing “Next Generation” worship • Personal and professional life is able to: o Demonstrate faithful commitment to the Mission and Core Values of RCC o Demonstrates willingness to pursue ministerial credentials in the E.C.C. o Demonstrate life of character that lives out integrity and faith o Demonstrates passionate chemistry to developing team relationships that builds others up o Demonstrates personal competency in both worship and leadership skills
