God Exposes Our Need Luke 10:25-28Greg Huffman, Elder
Behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
We Confess Our Sin
Christ Provides for Our Need 1 John 4:9-10In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

*God Reveals the Way of Love! 1 Corinthians 13 John Hibbler, Elder
Elder: If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. People: And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. Elder: If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. People: Love is patient and kind; Elder: Love does not envy or boast; People: It is not arrogant or rude. Elder: It does not insist on its own way; People: It is not irritable or resentful;Elder: It does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. People: Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Elder: Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. People: When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. Elder: For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. All: So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
*We Abide and Sing in Love! No. 597 Though I May Speak with Bravest Fire
*We Invoke His Help Psalm 69:13 Norm Reed, Elder
As for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.
God Calls Us to Stewardship 1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love.
We Give Our Tithes and Offerings

Hermeneutics for Dummies| Dr. Bob Stuart| Lecture HallSome of us feel like dummies when it comes to interpreting Scripture. Yet, interpretation is vitally important, for how a person views and handles Scripture will radically affect what he believes and how he lives. This Sunday School study will give the average believer tools for interpreting God’s Word and the means by which to handle some difficult and confusing passages. If you have ever felt “dumb” and “not approved” in handling God’s Word, then this course is for you!
Judges| Brian Roby| Room 213 Paranormal and supernatural activities, feats of superhuman strength, political intrigue and assassination, genocide, rampant sexual immorality. What is this, The Avengers meets the Nightly News? No, it’s all in the Book of Judges. Come join study stories both familiar and obscure as we together seek to find Christ in them all.

• Christian Education - We believe that our children are a vital part of our covenant community, and that our Lord delights in the faith of children. Our church is therefore committed to empowering a Christian school, which serves as one leg of a three legged stool: the family, the church , and the school who all labor together in order to train our covenant children to know and love and serve Jesus Christ. Please review our Mission Statement and celebrate with us the beauty of this threefold pattern for the Christian education of our God’s precious children.
• Pray that more families will recognize the need to choose Christian education.
