The first staff member will ‘own’ the mailbox, the other is a user.
e.g. If you ran Happy Valley Care home you might end up with:
[email protected] as your permanent public email that stays with your organisation long term.
You could nominate your manager Joan Smith and deputy Sarah Peterson.
They might get personal emails of
[email protected] and [email protected]
They can both access and view the shared mailbox. If one of them leaves they can take their email account with them and you can add a new user to access the permanent mailbox.
