5 hrs July 16 -Saturday-



Today was my first day at work. Initially the manager of the branch briefed me about the

NBP Bank its structure, purpose of business, hierarchy and various departments of the

bank. Then he told me specifically about the LORALAI branch and its setup. He

introduced me to his staff members and explained me how will I go through all

departments of the branch during my internship. It took almost 1-2 hrs.

Then he placed me with an Officer of the branch to learn about the basic operations of

the branch. I just read few brochures of different types of accounts the first day and he

told me about the account opening procedure.

5 hrs June 18 -Tuesday-

Today Officer Rozoddin taught me how to check account balances and filling deposit

slips. I spent my most of the time assisting CSO. He also took my test about the things

she taught me yesterday.

5 hrs June 19 -Wednesday-

Today CSO taught me some new things that are NADRA verisys. I spent my most of the

time assisting CSO. He told me about different types of accounts that NBP offers to its

customers like BBA account, CURRENT account and SAVINGS account. Then I filled

some account opening forms of the customers who have come to open their account. I

also visited few brokers’ offices and observed trading there.

5 hrs June 20 -Thursday-

In that day the officer under which i am working gave me a Performa in which there was

mentioned about the commission rate of the bank in which i taught that the bank will

charge commission from the customer according to the amount which he want to

transfer to other account. The officer then told me about the deposit slip how we fill the

deposit slip and also he filled some deposit slip from me for my experience.

8 hrs July 01 -Friday-

In that day I have learnt about the Charges which national Bank Charges from his

Customer. The RozoDin gave me a Performa in which there was information about the

different charges charged by the bank on different occasion. There were two

Categories;

1. The customer which have account in the NBP2. The customer which have not account in NBP.

The Bank will charge High commission from those customers which have not account in

the NBP, Such as If a Customer want to deposit up to 10000 and having account in



NBP then the bank will charge min Rs 80 from him as .04% on the other hand if the

customer have not account in the NBP then Bank will charge min RS 100 from him.

My first week was quite informative and I adjusted myself at the workplace during the

Week. I tried to learn everything and I learned few things about account opening and

the documents that are required for it. I also learned how to check balance of an account.
