• A well-proven 6-strand Langs Lay rope design and specialized constructionalproperties provide the fatigue life and added wear resistance necessary to meetthe demands of high cycle lift systems.

• Custom design capabilities and a full range of wire tensiles ensure that the nec-essary breaking strength can be met for each individual lift system.

• Optional Flattened Strand and Full Locked Coil designs are available when con-sidering the increased breaking load and reduced vibration requirements of highspeed systems.

• A specially manufactured polyester core provides an option to natural fiber andincreases operational performance by significantly reducing stretch (approxi-mately 50% less than fibre core). In addition, polyester core provides a more consistent density and diameter to support thestrands, resist strand abrasion, and eliminate core rot caused by external envi-ronments.

• Specially formulated lubricants increase rope performance, ensure compatibilitywith synthetic liners, provide corrosion resistance, and minimize fly-off.

• Optional galvanizing provides maximized corrosion protection for the mostdemanding environmental conditions.

• High quality manufacturing techniques, certified to ISO-9001-94, ensure consis-tent rope quality and performance.

• Well-marked core tracers in all products make it easy to identify PerformanceSeries quality ropes.

• Fully trained field splicers are available to ensure that ropes are correctly and efficiently installed.

• Full technical support allows WRI’s customers to make the correct rope selec-tion, obtain the relevant inspection and maintenance guidelines, and receive thenecessary training.
