Hi my name is Josue.

The last year I traveled with my friends to Huancavelica. We have taken at about 8 hours by bus.

We have visited the biggest and the oldest producing of electricity, “The Hydroelectric Power Station from Mantaro”.

It’s produce more electricity than other power station in Peru.

Huancavelica has a cold weather, there usually rain a lot, however It has a fantastic view of the landscape and places.

We have climbed hill “Las siete caidas de Jesus”, It’s more different than other hills, because It’s steepest and the most slippery of Huancavelica, here the people recreates the crucifix Jesus, and in the top there is a white cross of 12 meters.

Also we have eaten typical food for example Pachamanca, Apanado de Alpaca, in my opinion the food from Huancavelica is more delicious than the food from Lima.

We have visited “The Armas Square”, there is a the most beautiful chapel “La Virgen de los Dolores”, in the centre of chapel there is a small fountain of wather.

Even being Huancavelica one of the smallest than other departaments, It’s a the most beautiful and the most interesting places.
