SynopsisAs a typical popular Prada wearing white girl, Kourtney flourishes in an appearance loving society, taking more time to decide how she should reply to Chad’s SnapChat than helping her biology panther, Garth, on a project worth half of her grade. When the zombie apocalypse starts, Kourtney is not prepared to give up her popularity or her Starbucks. Is an apocalypse actually happening if you pretend it isn’t? Yes, because zombies and friends like Taylor will force you to face the truth and the terrible breath that all zombies seem to share. When Taylor breaks through Kourtney’s barrier of Sephora makeup and Pumpkin Spice Lattes, the stakes become higher as reality hits them harder than college graduates trying to enter the workforce. How can two girls who haven’t even passed eleventh grade survive the apocalypse? Apparently, it’s relatively easy. Who knew that the grumbling and groaning of the woes of a teenage girl were relatable to zombies? And that zombies do in fact have ears. With Kourtney’s complaining and the aid of her too nice of a guy biology partner, Garth, these teens might just be able to survive the zombie apocalypse. But when disaster hits, it’s not just zombies you have to worry about… People can bite too after all. Will Kourtney and her new allies be able to survive the apocalypse? Will Kourtney even last a week without Starbucks? Or, will everyone’s true colors come out in the threat of death? Because even to a basic white girl death is slightly scarier than wearing white after Labor Day.

Episode 1 "No WiFi? This Is An Apocalypse!"

The zombie apocalypse has begun! Gore, death, and chaos overrun the streets. People beg their neighbors to repay the one time they mowed their lawn by offering them sanctuary in their zombie free households… None of that is Kourtney’s concern. She just really needs to get her mascara right in order to send the perfect snapchat to Chad. But what happens when the WiFi goes out? What does the mysterious text from Taylor mean? And does Kourtney’s mom actually need a facelift, or is she just a zombie?

Episode 2"My Mom Tried To Eat My Face"

When Kourtney arrives at Taylor’s house, she is expecting some gossip, maybe a makeover, and a lot of talk about Chad. What happens when she is greeted with Taylor’s zombie mom? Will Taylor and Kourtney make it out of this alive and beautiful?

Episode 3 "Pop Culture 101: How To Kill A Zombie"

Garth is an average nerd with a thick pair of glasses and a 4.0 GPA. How will this nerd handle the zombie apocalypse? Is there any truth to The Walking Dead? Who is that girl outside? And more importantly, how is she walking in a zombie horde?

Episode 4"When In An Apocalypse"

Without shelter or a car, Kourtney and Taylor are under the constant threat of being eaten alive. Is girl power enough to get them out of this one? Will they find shelter for the night? Will strangers take pity on two girls whose only aspirations include marrying someone hot and rich and one day having a Starbucks drink named after them?

Episode 5“Darwinism, Legit"

A stone cold stare and a survival of the fittest mentality dictate Griffin’s every move. Who will she let tag along? And who will she protect? Meanwhile, Kourtney makes Garth her newly appointed BFF and gives him one wish.

Episode 6“Bonding Over Certain Death"

Kourtney and Garth head a rescue mission to save Garth’s mom with plans to seek shelter at Garth’s estranged father’s cabin.

Episode 7“It's Kourtney With A K"

With a nerd, a jock, a princess, a goth, and a survivalist, all trapped together in a single cabin, tempers are bound to flare. Curses, coffee, and a big reveal are more than enough to make the insaniest person leave the room… it’s just night one.

Episode 8"Absolutely Stupendous"

Night watch is a difficult task for anyone, give it to a princess running on coffee alone… well, let’s just hope everybody lives. Maybe Garth can help?

Episode 9"Barbie Is The Most Qualified?"

With a good night’s rest, the gang tries to find some answers. How did this all start? Is anywhere safe? With these new answers, someone has to take charge… who though? The answer may just shock you.

Episode 10 "A Barbie, A Brute, and A Betrayal"

With supplies dwindling, Griffin, Ronan, and Kourtney head to the next cabin over. But will these supplies be enough? Five mouths is a lot to feed during an apocalypse…

presents herself as a basic, one-dimensional white girl (and that very well may be

her dominant character trait), but she is anything but “typical.” During the

apocalypse, her other sides are forced to come out.

Inspiration: All of the white chicks on Instagram, Alexis (Schitt’s Creek)

GarthBeing a nerd is already difficult when faced with society. But when society no

longer shoves you into lockers but into flesh-devouring zombies… it becomes a

little ridiculous. Add 45 hours a week of DND to that and a pair of thick

glasses...let’s just say that high school didn’t prepare you for this.

Age: 16

Inspiration: That nerd from The Breakfast Club, Sheldon (The Big Bang Theory)

GriffinYou would think that dealing with brain-hungry flesh bags was enough, but no

some humans have to be assholes as well. With a survival of the fittest mindset,

this badass babe won’t think first before tossing anyone to the horde of zombies

outside. But remain useful in her game and you might just make it out alive.

She is also the older sister of Sabine.

(Xena: Warrior Princess)

RonanNot the usual villain in any story, this guy would much rather hug you than lay a finger on anyone. But when faced with impending doom even the teddy bears turn grizzly.

Age: 20

Inspiration: Kronk (The Emperor’s New Groove)

SabineShe may be goth, but not even she wants to give in to the unblinking eyes of a

zombie. Hostile, dark, and broody this goth seemingly wouldn’t care about

anything but herself… However, there seems to be layers to this goth, layers that

might just reveal that she does in fact care.

Age: 14

Inspiration: Sam (Danny Phantom), Lisbeth Salander, Billie Eilish

TaylorAs one of the prettiest girls in school, Taylor happens to be best friends with Kourtney. She has common sense and an awareness that Kourtney just does not possess. With her help, maybe Kourtney can make it out of this alive.

Age: 17

The Team

Rebecca Wilson

Rebecca Wilson is the creator of the series. The idea came to her originally as a joke for a short sketch. She then designed all of the characters to help bring the series to life. She is the casting director and also acts as a costume designer, producer, stunt coordinator, and cinematographer. She will play the rough and tough Griffin in the series.

Ashley WilsonAshley Wilson is the screenwriter and director of the series. She also acts as a producer, production designer, and set dresser for the series. She has won one award for directing and two awards for the best overall film at Campus Movie Fest and FITV, all of which she also wrote. SINS OF A FATHER earned her a national nomination for directing at Terminus.

Goals/Season 2Our overall goal with this web series is to see season one successful and able to fundraise for a season two. We hope to get a good amount of views on YouTube and publicity from film festivals. We would love for the series to get picked up by a streaming platform with season one really serving as a pilot and launch for this idea. Rebecca and I would want to remain as creative heads on the project to further our careers in the film industry.

A second season would further explore these characters and progress more into the zombie apocalypse. There would be more blood, more gore, more laughs, more love, more anger, more hate, more death, and of course, more comedy. We are currently outlining a second season.
