Many people believe that weight loss can be achieved when there is a
reduction in the amount of carbohydrate food taken.
The idea behind this is reduction of simple carbohydrate lowers the
amount of sugar in the blood stream. When this happens, the body
uses fat for metabolism and energy production.
When fat is used to produce energy, weight loss is achieved.
Now, there can be a right or wrong way to do it and its effectiveness
depends on the route you take.
At the end of this report, you should be able to know exactly how to
use a low carbohydrate to either increase or decrease weight loss.
In the past articles, I have explained the exact science behind why
people gain weight and how weight loss can be achieved when
carbohydrate is present or absent.
When there is less sugar and carbohydrate in the blood stream, less
insulin is produced. When this happens it creates an internal body
condition known as a "Hormone-Sensitive-Lipase" which is in simple
terms a "Fat Burning Condition" (FBC).
FBC transforms stored fats in all parts of your body into energy when
the body is exerted, as long as insulin is not present.
The work of FBC is to breakdown fatty acids into simpler and easier
forms that will make it easier for the body to convert to energy. In
other words, having a "Hormone-Sensitive-Lipase" or a "Fat Burning
Condition" is the secret to burning fat in the body.
The reason why many people have problem with losing weight is
because they simply do not have FBC activated in their body due to
excess glucose and sugar in the blood stream.
Apart from sugary foods which I identified in my last report, there are
other foods which are commonly eaten that could trigger the release of
insulin in the body.
Foods such as Pasta (spaghetti, indomie etc), rice, yam, bread etc are all
responsible in shooting our insulin levels up.
Are we saying that these foods should be avoided completely? Not at
all especially when you love them.
However, I shall tell you how to eat in such a way that your weight loss
effort is not compromised.
One thing you should note about eating simple carbohydrate is that
they initiate a craving for food few hours after they have been
consumed.
The secret to weight loss and maintaining a low carb diet is to be able
to focus on foods that gives your body enough micro-nutrients to be
able to naturtally TURN OFF your cravings for more food.
The fact is many people lack sufficient micro-nutrient in their bodies
that could help to battle the war against obesity.
And that is why the Wellness industry is a booming multi-billion dollar
industry because they realize that this generation of people lack
sufficient micronutrients and they provide synthetic supplements of all
kinds to take care of these problems.
If we consume adequate amount of micro-nutrient from natural
sources in the first place, there won't be need for you to take
supplements in the first place because nature has provided us with an
abundance of these supplements when eaten.

It has always been said that breakfast is the most important food of the
day. I can't agree less with that statement. However, when you have
your breakfast, do you start it with lots of carbohydrate dense foods?
If you do, you will be sabotaging your efforts to lose weight as Insulin
level in the body will rise and fat burning will be impaired.
So while breakfast may be heavy, the question is: what is the type of
food that makes up that breakfast?
In my second article in this series, I was able to prove that fats do not
make people grow fat. However, we have healthy and unhealthy fats.
The amount of fat that one should eat for weight watchers has been of
serious debate.
However, it should be noted that while healthy fats do not cause
weight gain, it plays an important role in the body, namely helping the
body in the absorption of micro-nutrients.
Therefore, consumption of foods that have micro-nutrients work in
conjuction with the presence of healthy fats in the body for absorption.
In the light of that, when eating foods that have fat, moderation should
be the keyword. An example of cooking oil that is healthy are oils
extracted from plants.
In my last report, I briefly talked about people who have type 2
diabetes and how they have accumulated excess sugar in their blood
stream over the years as they have dangerously elevated levels of
blood sugar causing their body to become very toxic.
For the diabetics in this category, an insulin inducing drug is given to
them to help in the production of insulin to manage the excess blood

However, others in the medical profession are now advocating that
patients stop completely the intake of sugar and refined carbohydrates
and replace with micro-nutrient foods.

diabetics as they do not believe that patients can be treated entirely
