INTRODUCTION

Make sure your working area is clean and that all the pieces that have been disassemble are placedin a secure place.

TOOLS:JIS Driver Set (1)




Step 1 — Battery

Place the phone face down.




Step 2

At the bottom of the phone will be acover that flips open. A sticker willbe under and when the sticker ispeeled back, two screws will berevealed. Use a JIS J00 screw headto unscrew.




Step 3

Once the two screws have beenremoved. Take the prying tool to pryoff the back cover of the phone.Next take a JIS J00 screwhead andunscrew the 5 screws that arelocated in the photo.

Step 4

After the screws have been takenout, carefully disconnect the 7indicated connectors using a smallplastic opening tool or spudger.

Metal spudgers can puncture anunprotected battery, potentiallycausing a fire. When working withelectronics, it's important to choosea tool that's ESD-safe to avoidaccidental damage to the device.The regular black nylon spudger or aplastic opening tool should be usedwhenever possible.




Step 5

The last connector is located underthe black sticker. Peel back theblack sticker and disconnect the lastconnector.




Step 6

Once all the connectors have beendisconnected. You will want to use asmall prying tool to pry out the backcamera and all its components fromthe phone.

Step 7

Remove the electrical panel with aplastic opening tool.




To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Step 8

Take a small plastic prying tool andpry out the battery of the phone. Thebattery has adhesive tape thatconnects it to the phone whichmakes it difficult to pry out. Makesure to try prying from differentangles of the battery.

Use a plastic prying tool when takingout the battery because anypuncture within the battery couldcause a fire.
