Do not mount storage rack over 5 feet fromthe ground.

Do not attach screws to drywall only. Makesure screws are attached to studs on 16inch centers.

Do not sit or hang on storage rack. Do not exceed maximum weight limit of 40

pounds on storage rack. When using as a blower: - Direct air discharge only at work area. - Do not direct air at bystanders. - Keep children away when blowing. - Do not use blower for any job except blowing dirt and debris. - Do not use as a sprayer. To reduce the risk of eye injury, wear safety

eyewear. The operation of any utility Vac orBlower can result in foreign objects beingblown into the eyes, which can result insevere eye damage.

Do not allow to be used as a toy.Close attention is necessary whenused by or near children.

Do not use with a torn filter or withoutfilter installed except when vacuumingliquids as described in this manual. Dry debris ingested by the impellermay damage the motor or beexhausted into the air.

Turn off Vac before unplugging. To reduce the risk of injury from

accidental starting, unplug power cordbefore changing or cleaning filter.

Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug,grasp the plug, not the cord.

Do not use with damaged cord, plug or otherparts. If your Vac is not working as it should,has missing parts, has been dropped,damaged, left outdoors, or dropped intowater, call customer service.

Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord ashandle, close a door on cord, or pull cordaround sharp edges or corners. Keep cordaway from heated surfaces.

Do not handle plug, switch, or the Vac withwet hands.

This Vac is double-insulated, eliminating theneed for a separate grounding system. Useonly identical replacement parts. Read theinstructions for Servicing Double-InsulatedWet/Dry Vacs.

Use only extension cords that are rated foroutdoor use. Extension cords in poorcondition or too small in wire size can posefire and shock hazards. To reduce the risk ofthese hazards, be sure the cord is in goodcondition and that liquid does not contact theconnection. Do not use an extension cordwith conductors smaller than 16 gauge(AWG) in size. To reduce power loss, use a14 gauge extension cord if 25 to 50 ft. longand 12 gauge for 50 ft. or longer

. Do not put any object into ventilationopenings. Do not vacuum with anyventilation openings blocked; keep free ofdust, lint, hair or anything that may reduce airflow.

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and allparts of body away from openings andmoving parts.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of hearing damage,

wear ear protectors when using forextended time or in a noisy area.

For dusty operations, wear dust mask. Static shocks are common when the

relative humidity of the air is low.Vacuuming fine debris with your Vaccan deposit static charge on the hoseor Vac. To reduce the frequency ofstatic shocks in your home or whenusing this Vac, add moisture to the airwith a humidifier.

This Wall Mounted Vac is intended forhousehold use. It may be used for lightvacuuming of wet or dry debris and maybe used as a blower. The light weightdesign allows usage for most smallhousehold vacuuming chores.

5STORAGE RACK ASSEMBLY & MOUNTINGAssembling Upper and LowerRackAlign the tabs in the upper rack withnotches in lower rack. Slide upper rackforward until the hooks on the lower rackengages the bottom flange of the upperrack. You will hear an audible click whenthe locks engage.

1.Choose a location that is indoors andnot exposed to rain. For bestperformance and easy access, positionthe storage rack so the center of thevacuum inlet port is no more that fivefeet from floor and no more thaneighteen inches from an electricaloutlet.

2.Locate wall stud and position thestorage rack so that all four screwholes are over the stud. Level the rackand mark the hole locations. Drill a 1/8inch diameter pilot hole at eachlocation. Attach the storage rack to wallstuds using the four screws provided.Make sure all four screws are drivensecurely into the wall stud.

3. If the desired location does not alignwith a wall stud or the studs areexposed, a 1/2 inch thick plywoodpanel wide enough to span at least twostuds, must be attached to the studswith the four screws provided. Thestorage rack may then be attached tothe plywood panel with four 1 inch#10 pan or round head wood screws(not provided).

NOTE: Supplied wood screws areintended for mounting to typical wallconstruction consisting of 5/8 inchdrywall or less.

CAUTION: To prevent plywood,Storage Rack, or Wet/Dry Vac fromfalling, make sure you have selectedthe proper length of fastener for thesecure mounting of storage rack tothe wall.

Accessory Storage Bin Attach the Accessory Storage Bin to theVac assembly by inserting the tabs onthe Vac canister through the holes in thestorage bin and lowering the bin intoplace.

5.Lower the Vac until the upper hook andlower hook are engaged and thebottom of the Vac canister rests on therack. The release tab will pop out overthe flange on the motor assembly.

6.Snap the power cord into the cordretainer in the front surface of the rack.The cord may exit on either the left orright side. Plug the power cord into theelectrical outlet. Do not fasten powercord to wall in any way.

1.Set the Vac on the floor near thestorage rack. Measure the distancefrom center of storage rack to theclosest electrical outlet and add18 inches.

2.Uncoil that amount of power cord fromthe cord wrap. Drape the loose cordover the top of the vacuum and downthe front.

3.Grasp the handle with one hand andthe bottom of the Vac canister at thefront with the other hand. Always lift theVac with both hands. Lift the Vac up tothe storage rack.

4.Align the upper hook on the Vac withthe rectangular opening in the storagerack. Push the Vac against the storagerack.

Cord StorageWhen your Wall Mounted Wet/Dry Vac isnot in use, it should be unplugged fromthe outlet. Excess cord should bewrapped over the hose storage rack.Several loops may be required toeliminate any tripping hazard created bya loosely hanging cord.

Removing Vac from StorageRack1.Unplug the power cord from the

electrical outlet. Remove the cord fromthe cord retainer. Drape the loose cordover the top of the Vac.

2.With your right hand, grasp the carryhandle.

3.With your left hand depress the releasetab located on the left side of thestorage rack.

4.Lift up on the handle, and pull the Vacup and out of the storage rack.

ACCESSORIES (continued)Hoses (14 Foot Locking Hose &7 Foot Expandable Locking Hose)The 14 Foot Locking Hose and the 7Foot Expandable Locking Hose have anadaptor that can be used to connect thehose to the vacuum port on the Vac or tothe male end of another hose. Both 7 footand 14 foot hoses can be usedconnected together or independently fromone another.Both the 7 foot and 14 foot hoses have alocking adaptor at one end that willconnect to the Vac, and a friction fit atthe other end, which will connect to allthe 1-7/8 inch accessories or a secondhose.To connect these two hoses together, firstconnect the 14 foot hose to the Wet/DryVac. Next connect the 7 foot hose to the14 foot hose by inserting the friction endof the longer hose into the larger lockingend of the shorter hose. This will create afriction connection.

Do not leave Vac running while unattended - you may fail to noticeimportant signs indicating abnormal operation such as loss of suction,debris/liquid exiting the exhaust, or abnormal motor noises. Immediatelystop using Vac if you notice these signs.

Do not leave Vac plugged in when not in use. Do not continue running when float has cut off suction. Sparks inside the motor can ignite airborne flammables. Do not operate Vacnear flammable liquids or in areas with flammable gases, vapors, orexplosive/airborne dust. Flammable liquids, gases, and vapors include:lighter fluid, solvent-type cleaners, oil-based paints, gasoline, alcohol, andaerosol sprays. Explosive dusts include: coal, magnesium, aluminum,grain, and gun powder.

Do not vacuum up explosive dusts, flammable liquids, or hot ashes.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock or injury: Do not expose to rain or allow liquid to enter motor compartment. Storeindoors.

After you plug the power cord into theoutlet, turn the unit on by pushing theswitch from position "O" to position "l".The symbols used on the switch actuatorare international "On & Off" symbols.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, thisVac has a polarized plug (one blade iswider than the other). This plug will fit ina polarized outlet only one way. If theplug does not fit fully in the outlet,reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,contact a qualified electrician to install theproper outlet. Do not change the plug inany way.

1.With the vacuum removed from thestorage rack(see Removing Vac fromStorage Rack section), remove the Vacmotor assembly from the Vac canisterassembly.

2.Lay Vac motor assembly upside downon a clean area while emptying Vaccanister.

3.Dump the Vac canister contents intothe proper waste disposal container.

WARNING: To reduce the risk ofinjury from accidental starting,unplug power cord before emptyingthe Vac canister.

Blowing FeatureYour Wet/Dry Vac has the capability tobe used as a blower for yard work, patiocleanup and workshop applications toblow sawdust and other debris.

1.Locate blowing port of your Vac.2. Insert the locking end of hose into the

blowing port of the Vac.3. (Optional) Attach extension wand to

swivel end of hose, then place the carnozzle on the wand.

4.Turn Vac on and you are ready to useyour Vac as a blower.

WARNING: Always wear safetyeyewear complying with ANSI Z87.1(or in Canada, CSA Z94.3) beforeusing as a Blower.

CAUTION: Wear a dust mask ifblowing creates dust which might beinhaled.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk ofhearing damage, wear ear protectorswhen using the Vac/Blower forextended hours or when using in anoisy area.

OPERATION (continued)Choosing the Correct Filter

There are a variety of Filters availablefor WORKSHOP Wet/Dry vacuums.The Filters you choose should dependupon the task you are performing.Not all available Filters are included witheach model, but they may be purchasedas needed from retailers carryingWORKSHOP Wet/Dry vacuums or fromwww.WORKSHOPvacs.com.The available Filters include:

1. Pleated Paper Cartridge Filters

2. Wet Application Cartridge Filter

WARNING: To reduce the risk ofdamage to the Vacuum, do not runmotor with float in raised position.A cartridge filter should be present,and in the correct position duringall vacuuming operations to avoiddebris leaks and possible damage tothe vacuum motor.

a. The available Pleated PaperCartridge Filters include catalognumbers WS21200F (EverydayDirt), WS22200F (Fine Dust), andWS23200F (HEPA Media).

b. Each of these Pleated PaperCartridge Filters are intended forcleaning up dry debris, however,a small amount of liquid can bepicked up without damaging theFilter. When maintained properly,small amounts of liquid will notcause damage to the Filter. Whenpicking up larger amounts of liquid,the Pleated Paper Cartridge Filterwill become saturated, misting mayappear in the vacuums exhaust,and the Filter may be damaged.After using the Vac to pick up smallamounts of liquid, the PleatedPaper Cartridge Filter must be driedto avoid mildew and damage.

a. The available Wet ApplicationCartridge Filter is catalog numberWS24200F.

b. This Wet Application Cartridge Filteris intended for cleaning up liquidsand wet debris only. It is NOT to beused for any dry debris.

c. To maintain Filter performance,rinse thoroughly with water aftereach use.

d. See Filter Removal andInstallation section for directions onhow to change the Wet ApplicationCartridge Filter.

c. If you are using your vacuum topick up very fine dust, it will benecessary for you to empty thedrum and clean the Filter at morefrequent intervals to maintain peakvacuum performance.

3. Dust Collection Bagsa. The available Dust Collection Bag

any moisture, the bag will absorbthe moisture and may deterioratevery quickly, making the bagnonfunctional.

d. If you are using your vacuum topick up fine dust, the DustCollection Bag will make cleanupeasier.

NOTE: Dust Collection Bag MUST beused in conjunction with a PleatedPaper Cartridge Filter.e. Directions for Installation and

MAINTENANCEFilter

NOTE: This filter is made of high qualitypaper designed to stop very smallparticles of dust. The filter can be usedfor wet or dry pick up. Handle the filtercarefully when removing to clean orinstalling it. Creases in the filter pleatsmay occur from installation but creaseswill not affect the performance of thefilter.

WARNING: Do not operatewithout filter cage and float, as theyprevent liquid from entering theimpeller and damaging the motor.For dry material pick-up, do notoperate without the filter in place toreduce the risk of damage to themotor.

Filter Removal and InstallationFilter Removal:1. Hold the filter tabs of the Qwik Lock

filter in each hand.2. With one thumb on the Qwik Lock

stud, which protrudes through theintegrated filter plate, lift up on thefilter tabs while pushing down on thestud.

3. This action will cause the filter torelease from the filter cage. Slide filteroff cage.

Filter Installation:1. Carefully slide the Qwik Lock filter

over the filter cage and press down onthe outside edge of the filter until therubber gasket on the bottom of thefilter seats securely around the baseof the filter cage and against the lid.

2. Align the small center hole in the topof the filter over the Qwik Lock studon the filter cage. Press firmly on topof the filter near the stud to allow thefilter to snap over the ball on the endof the stud. The filter is now attached.

Cleaning A Dry FilterNOTE: For best cleaning results due toaccumulated dust, clean the filter in anopen area. Cleaning SHOULD be doneoutdoors and not in the living quarters.1.Light cleaning of some dry debris from

the filter can be accomplished withoutremoving the filter from the Vac. Simplyslap your hand on top of the handlewhile the Vac is turned off.

2.Remove filter from Vac. Gently tap thefilter against the inside wall of your dustdrum and the debris will loosen andfall.

3.For thorough cleaning of a dry filterwith fine dust (no debris) you may runwater through it as described underCleaning A Wet Filter Section.

Cleaning A Wet FilterAfter filter is removed, run water throughthe filter from a hose or faucet. take carethat the water pressure is not too strongto damage the filter. Allow filter to drybefore use or storage.

No recoja con la aspiradora polvo de panel de yesoni holln fro o ceniza fra de chimenea con un filtroestndar. Estos materiales pueden pasar por el filtroy ser expulsados de vuelta al aire. Utilice un filtropara polvo fino en lugar de un filtro estndar.

Para reducir el riesgo de inhalar vapores txicos,no recoja con la aspiradora materiales txicos opeligrosos ni la use cerca de dichos materiales.

Para reducir el riesgo de descargas elctricas, noexponga la aspiradora a la lluvia ni deje que entrenlquidos en el compartimiento del motor. Guarde laaspiradora en un lugar interior.

Esta aspiradora mojado/seco no se destina parautilizarse por personas (incluyendo nios) cuyascapacidades fsicas, sensoriales o mentales seandiferentes o estn reducidas, o carezcan deexperiencia o conocimiento, a menos que dichaspersonas reciban una supervisin o capacitacinpara el funcionamiento del aparato por una personaresponsable de su seguridad.

No permita que la aspiradora se utilice como unjuguete. Se necesita prestar mxima atencincuando sea utilizada por nios o cerca de stos.

No use la aspiradora con el cordn daado, elenchu fe daado u otras piezas daadas. Si la aspira -dora no funciona como debe, le faltan piezas, se hacado, ha sido daada, se ha dejado a la intem perieo se ha cado al agua, llame a servicio al cliente.

No tire de la aspiradora usando el cordn ni la llevepor el cordn, ni use el cordn como asa, ni cierreuna puerta sobre el cordn, ni tire del cordn alre -dedor de bordes o esquinas afilados. No pase laaspiradora en marcha sobre el cordn. Mantenga elcordn alejado de las superficies calientes.

No maneje el enchufe, el interruptor o la aspiradoracon las manos mojadas.

Esta aspiradora tiene aislamiento doble, lo cualelimina la necesidad de un sistema independiente deconexin a tierra. Utilice nica mente piezas derepuesto idnticas. Lea las instruc ciones de serviciode revisin de las aspiradoras para mojado/seco conaislamiento doble.

Utilice nicamente cordones de extensin quetengan capacidad nominal para uso a la intemperie.Los cordones de extensin que estn en malascondiciones o tengan un tamao de alambredemasiado pequeo pueden crear peligros deincendio y descargas elctricas. Para reducir elriesgo de estos peligros, asegrese de que elcordn est en buenas condiciones y que el lquidono entre en contacto con la conexin. No utilice uncordn de extensin que tenga conductores con undimetro menor al calibre 16 (AWG). Para reducir laprdida de potencia, utilice un cordn de extensinde calibre 14 si la longitud es de 25 a 50 pies, y decalibre 12 si la longitud es de 50 pies o ms.

No ponga ningn objeto en las aberturas de venti -lacin. No recoja nada con la aspiradora cuandocualquiera de las aberturas de ventilacin estbloqueada; mantenga dichas aberturas libres depolvo, pelusa, pelo o cualquier cosa que puedareducir el flujo de aire.

Para reducir el riesgo de lesiones corporales odaos a la aspiradora, utilice nicamente accesoriosrecomendados por WORKSHOP.

No monte el bastidor de almacenamiento a ms de 5 pies por encima del piso.

No sujete los tornillos a pared de tipo seco sola -mente. Asegrese de que los tornillos estn sujetos apostes de pared en centros a 16 pulgadas.

2. Localice un montante de pared y posicione elbastidor de almacenamiento de manera que loscuatro tornillos estn sobre el montante. Niveleel bastidor y marque las ubicaciones de losagujeros. Taladre un agujero piloto de 1/8 depulgada de dimetro en cada ubicacin. Sujete el bastidor de almacenamiento a los montantesde pared utilizando los cuatro tornillossuministrados. Asegrese de que los cuatrotornillos se aprieten firmemente en los postes de pared.

3. SUSPENSIN DE LA ASPIRADORA EN EL BASTIDOR DE ALMACENAMIENTO

5. Baje la aspiradora hasta que el gancho superiorde la aspiradora y el gancho inferior estnacoplados y la parte inferior del recipiente de laaspiradora des canse sobre el bastidor. Lalengeta de liberacin saldr sobre la pestaaubicada en el ensamblaje del motor.

6. Acople a presin el cable de alimentacin en elinterior del retenedor del cordn en la superficiedelantera del bastidor. El cordn podr salirtanto por el lado izquierdo como por el derecho.Enchufe el cordn de energa en el toma -corriente. No sujete el cordn de energa a lapared de ningn modo.

1. Ponga la aspiradora en el piso cerca del bastidorde almacenamiento. Mida la distancia desde elcentro del bastidor de almacenamiento hasta eltoma corriente ms cercano y aada 18 pulgadas.

2. Desenrolle esa longitud del cordn de energaubicado en el enrollador del cordn. Deje colgarel cordn suelto sobre la parte de arriba de laaspiradora y hacia abajo por la parte delantera.

3. Agarre el asa con una mano y la parte inferior delrecipiente de la aspiradora en la parte delanteracon la otra mano Levante siempre la aspiradoracon las dos manos. Levante la aspiradora hastael bastidor de almacenamiento.

4. Alinee el gancho superior de la aspiradora con laabertura rectangular ubicada en el bastidor dealmacenamiento. Empuje la aspiradora contra elbastidor de almacenamiento.

Almacenamiento del cordnCuando la aspiradora para mojado/seco montadaen la pared no est en uso, se debe desenchufardel tomacorriente. El exceso de cordn se debeenrollar sobre el bastidor de almacenamiento de lamanguera. FUNCIONAMIENTOADVERTENCIA: Para reducir el riesgo de incendio, explosin o daos a la aspiradora:

2. Coloque el ensamblaje del motor de laaspiradora en posicin invertida en un realimpia mientras vaca el recipiente de laaspiradora.

3. Vierta el contenido del recipiente de laaspiradora en un recipiente de eliminacin deresiduos apropiado.

1. Filtros de cartucho de papel plisado

a. Los filtros de cartucho de papel plisadodisponibles incluyen los nmeros decatlogo WS21200F (suciedad diaria),WS22200F (polvo fino) yWS23200F (medios HEPA).

b. Cada uno de estos filtros de cartucho depapel plisado est diseado para recogerresiduos secos; sin embargo, se puederecoger una pequea cantidad de lquidosin daar el filtro. Cuando el filtro semantenga apropiadamente, las cantidadespequeas de lquido no le causarn daos.Cuando recoja cantidades ms grandes delquido, el filtro de cartucho de papelplisado se saturar, es posible queaparezca niebla en el escape de laaspiradora y puede que el filtro resultedaado. Despus de utilizar la aspiradorapara recoger pequeas cantidades delquido, se debe secar el filtro de cartuchode papel plisado para evitar que se formemoho y que se produzcan daos.

c. Si est utilizando la aspiradora pararecoger polvo muy fino, ser necesario quevace el tambor y limpie el filtro aintervalos ms frecuentes para mantener elmximo rendimiento de la aspiradora.

2. Filtro de cartucho para aplicaciones mojadas

Vace de residuos el tambor.2. Lave a fondo el tambor con agua templada y unjabn suave.

3. Limpie el tambor con un pao seco.Antes de un almacenamiento prolongado o segnsea necesario (por ejemplo, si se recogen aguasresiduales), se debe desinfectar el tambor.Para desinfectar el tambor:1. Eche 1 galn de agua y 1 cucharadita de blan -queador de cloro en el tambor.

2. Deje que la solucin repose durante 20 minutosy agtela cuidadosamente cada pocos minutos,asegurndose de mojar todas las superficiesinteriores del tambor.

3. Vace el tambor despus de 20 minutos. Enju -guelo con agua hasta que el olor a blanqueadordesaparezca. Deje que el tambor se seque com -ple tamente antes de sellar el motor sobre eltambor.

Lalimpieza DEBE realizarse en el exterior y no enreas de vivienda.1. La limpieza ligera para quitar una pequeacantidad de residuos secos se puede realizarsin quitar el filtro de la aspiradora.Simplemente d una palmada con la mano enla parte superior de la tapa mientras laaspiradora est apagada.

2. Quite el filtro de la aspiradora. Golpeesuavemente el filtro contra la pared interior deltambor para polvo. Los residuos se soltarn ycaern.

3. Para realizar una limpieza a fondo del filtroseco con polvo fino (sin residuos), se puedepasar agua a travs del filtro de la manera quese describe en Limpieza de un filtro mojado.

Limpieza de un filtro mojadoDespus de haber retirado el filtro, pase a travsdel mismo agua procedente de una manguera ouna llave de agua. Tenga cuidado de que la presindel agua de la manguera no sea tan fuerte comopara daar el filtro.

Qu haremos para corregir los problemas

Despus de que usted haya contactado al Departamento de Servicio al Cliente de Productos WORKSHOP de ETCconforme a los procedimientos que anteceden, ETC iniciar los procedimientos de la garanta, incluyendo unainspeccin fsica, sujeto a las exclusiones y al Perodo de Garanta que se establecen en este documento, paradeterminar si reparar o reemplazar el Producto WORKSHOP o darle a usted un reembolso.

La decisin de reparar o reemplazar su Producto WORKSHOP o darle un reembolso es a nuestra discrecinexclusiva. La reparacin o los reemplazos que ETC le provea a usted son sin costo alguno para usted si estncubiertos bajo esta garanta limitada. La cobertura bajo esta garanta limitada est condicionada en todomomento a que el comprador original cumpla con la notificacin de garanta limitada que antecede y loscorrespondientes procedimientos de reclamo.
