So your exams are around the corner and while WTF isnt encouraging

you to cheat, we thought we will give you the hottest tips from cheat

street, expert cheaters were involved in the making of this list. Be

warned some have tried and been caught!

    ILLUSTRATION: PETER GOLTI

    CHEATSTREET

    Peek-a-boo cheat

This is very much specifc to girls. This is towrite the cheats on your thigh and wear askirt so its very much covered till the timeonly you want to see it. This is an abso-lute safe cheat as many of the professors

will not be able to make out that youare taking help of a cheat. Guys,

ask your girlfriends to help soyou can peek!

    Sleevecheat

For this cheat you just need to wear a fullsleeve shirt as a preparation. Write as muchas you can on all the most relevant topics

which you are expecting to be a part of youtest. This will help you a lot since during the

test, you just need to pull up your sleevesand face your hand towards you andget the hints from there. This is great

with formulas and concepts thatyou cannot remember.

SlipcheatThis is the oldest and most original ideaof cheats. Pick up a slip write as muchas you can, just slip it into your pocketand use it whenever you want. There

is no way that it can be traced outas it is too small for that. Most ofthe people still follow this trick

though it is very old andtraditional.

    Bottlecheat

Carry a bottle to your test, can be water ora beverage like Coke or Pepsi. You just needto take off the label on the bottle. Carefullyobserve that and then print the same colorpaper out. Write your exam content on thatcarefully. You may even prefer printing your

content in the format and font of originallabel. This is a very helpful tact. All that

you need is just to keep the bottlefacing towards you so that you

    can see that content.

    PenCheat

Carry a pencil bag or box and save slips inthem. You can also write the content on pa-per and tuck it inside your pen. Use it as aspare pen and you can easily peal the pa-per out and see the content as and when

it is required. This is an effective toolwhere you can easily see the cheats

and copy the content withoutgetting caught. This is easy to

    prepare as well

    WELCOME TO

    SMScheat

This works if you can sneak in your mobilephones to the classroom. Content can be saved asmessages or mails. Few examination halls do not

allow phone inside the examination room, whereasfew allow the phone. If you are in a place wherephone is allowed inside, then you may prefer aBluetooth device which is almost in an inch sizeand which fts within the ear. This will help you

listen to call and write. You may sneak in aminute or two when the professor is notaround, and call your friend, give the

    question details

    Teamcheat

Forming a team and cheating an exam ishugely popular and has maximum risk. You cansit next to someone who will help and slide slowlyhere and there to be able to peep into their paperand just keep writing. This can happen only whenyou have already teamed up with the person youare copying from. There are again various otherways of doing these. Some follow code system ofknocking on the table. If you have a doubt on

question number 3 then knock 3 times onthe table, the response from your friend

would the number of knocks ofright option.

    Nolanization

Iron Man 3 is slatedto hit theaters inIndia on April 26th,so make sure you

    get your Tony Stark fx!

The new Iron Man 3 trailer was out a fewweeks ago and at rst instant, looks like solidun. It has Tony Stark characteristic one lin-

ers, narcissism, big set piece action, myste-ious villain, big explosions and last scale

destruction. And Gwyneth Paltrow as Pep-per Pots, whom Tony Stark refers to as theone person he cares about. But it also hashe now familiar superhero conundrum of

existentialism. Tony Stark says he is a mil-ionaire, philanthropist, occasionally saveshe world and yet, he cannot sleep. And in

an earlier version of the trailer he also saysnothing has remained the same since NewYork, obviously referring to the climax of TheAvengers from summer 2012.

This is not necessarily a new trend in the su-perhero milieu. As summer blockbusters be-came bigger and bigger, the need to sticko franchises grew. This meant one had toeinvent constantly with pretty much theame hero, a ock of villains and characters.

Christopher Nolan started the brooding su-perhero caught in conict between his alteregos. It started with Batman Begins, the t rou-bled Bruce Wayne shunning Gotham City, eturning to its self-destruction and adopting

the Batman image to ght the scum aroundit. This was explored over a trilogy of the res-urrection of Gotham, with a deeper look atcrime and its perpetrators, and how much ofthis affects and destroys Batman, and moreimportantly Bruce Wayne, the man donningthe cape.

So much so that even James Bond was re-invented as the troubled secret agent ght-ing inner battles in addition to the cold onesoutside. Twice. Once in Casino Royale whenthere was a new actor playing Bond andthe earlier lms had received much criticism, and Bond was launched as the guy withthe new double O status and a girl whomhe loves - the one who eventually betrayshim and makes him the Bond that weveknown all these decades. The return to amore suave Bond in Quantum of Solace didnot help matters especially with a wafer thinplot and unimaginative action, not to men-tion, guileless Bond girls. So Bond was againreinvented, in Skyfall, with an obituary tohis name, deemed not t for eld work anda return to his roots in a more conventionalsense. It achieved polarized response, some utterly bored of it and some call-ing it the best Bond lm of all time.

Zack Snyders Man of Steel, the Su-perman reboot following a mostlydisappointing Superman Returnsfrom Bryan Singer is also grim, complex and full of melancholyfrom the teaser trailers that havebeen out so far. Here theres abso-lutely no surprise because Chris-topher Nolan actually shares

writing credits. If it is even halfas good as Batman Begins - re-member Nolan is not directing- this will be a thrill ride for themovie buffs.

Not all these experiments haveworked. Batman succeeded andmost that immediately followedwere poor imitations. CaptainAmerica was a good lm for themost part but hardly eshed out forthis sort of introspection. The Amaz-ing Spider-Man was a colossal fail-ure on all fronts - except for AndrewGareld and Emma Stone casting.Plus the Nolan x was already therethat summer with the nal part of theDark Knight trilogy which had no chance

of failure no matter the quality of the lm. Todate, the most successful adoption of Nolani-zation has been James Bond. Casino Royalewas followed by Begins but it was too closeto call it an inspiration of this line of thought. But Skyfall was a conscious reinterpretation. Most things worked. Some didnt. But James

Bond emerged out of it bigger, better, snap-pier and nally looks ready for some 60s and70s kind of fun.

There are even talks of Nolan doing a Bondlm. Before that wet dream comes true, wehave Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel to lookforward to. Even in his missteps, Tony Starkhas been a treat to watch and hasnt embar-rassed himself over the two lms. We shallwait and watch if he can continue that run, come May 2013.
