The Wurster HS™ has shown spray rates two, threeand even four times faster than conventional Wursters.This directly translates into increased productivity andlower manufacturing costs.

Until the HS, p h a rm a c e u t i c a lm a nu f a c t u r e rs had to acceptthe potential of agglomerationon conventional Wursters dueto either high spray rates or fineparticle sizes. The Wurster HS’sunique design characteristics allbut eliminate agglomeration as aprocessing limitation.

The Glatt Wurster HS™ brokethe 100 micron barrier, allowingprecise coatings to be reliablyapplied to fine part i c l e s .C o n v e n t i o n a l Wu rs t e rscannot do this. The WursterH S™ has opened up newavenues for formulators and R&Dscientists.

This feature provides a center dischargemechanism for final product discharge atthe conclusion of a batch. Discharge is typ-ically completed in a matter of minuteswith gentle material handling.
