This Spring saw the launch of the Wimbledon Village Farmer’s Market.

‘Fresh & Local’ (within 30 miles where possible) is the theme and around 90% of stall holders are ‘primary’ producers – meaning they produce the product they’re selling themselves.

Supported by the Wimbledon Village Business Association and various local residents’ associations, this is very much a community enterprise, focusing on addressing local needs. The market has already

proved hugely popular – get there early to get your fruit and veg! – and organiser, Simon Greig, is always on hand to get your feedback.
