Qualifications • Master's degree in a related field or an equivalentcombination of education and experience. Bachelor'sdegree is required. • At least 3-years working in higher education withexperience in student life or international studentservices• At least 1-year experience working with othercultures or living/working abroad• Supervisory experience is preferred. • Substantial and continually refreshed knowledge ofimmigration regulations are critical to help maintaininstitutional and international students' compliancewith all relevant federal regulations• Administrative and budgetary management skills• Analytical and problem-solving skills

CONTEXT OF THE POSITION

The litigation fellowship provides anopportunity for a recent law schoolgraduate, within three years of law school,to work with experienced environmentalpractitioners within a leading environmentalnon-profit organization.

The fellow will take a lead role indeveloping litigation CBF will bring orsupporting litigation in which CBF iscurrently engaged. If the opportunitypresents itself, the fellow will participate inlitigation. The fellow will work closely withthe Vice President for Litigation, litigationcounsel, litigation staff, and other CBF staff,including scientists, land planners, lobbyistsand educators.

Applicant must have Maryland bar license(or be able to obtain Maryland bar licensebefore commissioning.

No prior military experience required.

Once accepted, the applicant willcommission as a 1st Lieutenant into theArmy. He/she will then be scheduled toattend 6 weeks of Army officer basic inGeorgia and 10.5 weeks of JAG schoollocated at UVA in Charlottesville, VA.

There the soldier will then be assigned toone of multiple locations in Maryland,where he/she will do his/her monthly drills.Pay is the standard military pay scale(based on rank and years of service).
