Genre & trailer type• Our genre is a hybrid Supernatural-Thriller• We aim to make a teaser trailer, about 1

minute 30 seconds, but this could extend.• We will include themes of: betrayal,

supernatural activities, mystery, community and friendship.

Ancillary Tasks• We are both going to create our own poster

and magazine front cover for our film trailer in order to use our own ideas for image stills.

How trailer will be filmed• Our film trailers will be filmed/ produced together,

but edited separately.• This to have our own separate ‘creative cuts’• We now have a storyboard and want to practise

filming techniques, before we actually film our final productions

Storyboards

Characters• Amy: innocent girl, protagonist, wanted by Cult• Katie: secret antagonist, part of cult, ‘goes

missing’• Adam: another secret antagonist, Amy’s friend

who helps her find Katie, sacrifices himself • Cult: supernatural group who need Amy’s

bloodline/body to use for evil spirit

Plot:• Girl wakes up outside, no recollection of past few hours –found by friend, Adam• Next day realises her friend Katie is missing –ring her –hear ‘HELP ME’ decide to

look for her near where Adam found Amy• Enter house, Katie appears, hers & Adam’s sinister intentions revealed -Cult

appears• Amy wakes up restrained, cliché antagonist explanation of needing Amy’s body

as host for spirit• Adam’s guilt emerges as he runs in front as Katie is about to put spirit inside,

going into Adam instead. His body contorts –Amy has to kill him• Cult disappear as spirit is destroyed. Amy cradles Adam’s body and Katie runs

outside• Police arrive, arrest Amy for Adam’s death –blames she had a mental

breakdown/ fingerprints are on weapon• Leaves open for sequel/ revenge
