What is it?− A software tool to pull utilization data from the

electronic claim files (EDI) into the OCS-OASIS databaseFunctions?− Converts data into number of visits and hours of service

by discipline− Inserts visits/hours information into the appropriate

OASIS assessment◘ Attempts to match the utilization data in the billing

file with the corresponding OASIS assessment for each patient ‘Key fields’: Patient’s Last Name, Birth Date, Gender and SOC

date

− Provides reports detailing results of the import process

desktop level◘ Utilization report in OCS-OASIS

− With quarterly submission of data to OCS, the online reports will include utilization benchmarks◘ Utilization Data Summary Report (OCS Connection

– Report Builder)◘ Bubble Graph

Used to understand how your agency overall co-manages cost and quality as compared to other agencies

Generated quarterly and accessed on-line in OCS Connection
