X-Lite Softphone on a Mitel 3300

Introduction The following document provides basic instructions on how to configure both a Mitel 3300 and an X-Lite Softphone in order to use the Softphone as a SIP extension. 1/. Multiline IP Set Configuration Create an extension of the type ‘Generic SIP Phone’.

2/. Load the X-Lite softphone and right click on it, selecting the ‘SIP Account Settings’ option from the menu presented.

4/. Only one option will be presented dependant upon whether it is blank or has an entry select either ‘add’ or ‘properties’

5/. Complete the form In this case ‘192.168.10.16’ is the address of the Mitel 3300 and 250 is the extension number of the X-Lite Softphone. Click OK Start making phone calls!!
