Our gravity dampers are balanced -3 degrees past center to ensure a snug fit. Can be easily removed for inspection or maintenance. Designed not to flutter in heavy winds.

REMOVABLE FRONT LOUVER The louver can be removed without damaging any weather tight seals. Impact resistance, UV protected and Flame resistance (UL-94  VO Flame Spread rating) Louver blades are spaced to prevent any “critter” from taking up residence but allows proper ventilation.

Differences in air moisture content and / or temperatures between interior and exterior can create conditions in which mold thrives and the deterioration of construction materials accelerates.

PREVENT WATER INTRUSION PAST THE BUILDING ENVELOPE.

Water entering is never good, and expensive to rectify. Prevention is less expensive, requires less man hours, and NO attorneys fees. Water can cause mold growth and damage the wall materials through multiple floors. Our products successfully prevent water breaching the exterior building envelope, even in extreme conditions like hurricanes.

STOP CRITTERS FROM TAKING UP RESIDENCE

Squirrels, birds, bees are all nice–outside. Dryer ducts filled with nests can cause fires. Having ducts obstructed increases energy expense relating to running the attached appliances. Dealing with animal feces, and noise associated with nest-building, are not pleasant either. Our design makes it impossible for a bird or squirrel to access the duct, and insect access unlikely.

PREVENTS SAND, DEBRIS INTRUSION

Sand and debris entering, and collecting in, ductwork can damage attached appliances (i.e. dryers, kitchen hoods, bath – room exhaust fans) as well as reduced efficiencies. Our design keeps out debris carried by winds.
