    Introduction

    Xcelsius is a data visualization design tool that displays summary-level business data in a visually rich andintuitive format that allows users to analyze and interact with their data in order to make better businessdecisions. It uses the unique combination of Microsoft Excel, SAP BEx Queries, Info cubes, Crystal Reports,and WebI Reports through Live Office.

    Publishing Dashboards in Enterprise portal brings rich experience to users as it gives more interactiveoutlook to end users.

    Publishing the Dashboards

    1. Design the Interactive Dashboard. Publish it using main menu > SAP> Publishto generateDashboards in .swf format from .xlf format.

    2. Choose SAP> Launchoption to generate the dashboard in Internet Explorer to create a URL iView

    that further helps to generate New Report.

    3. Log in to Enterprise portal. Use content administration and portal contents to create a business-specific folder. Right-click the folderand choose New> iViewas below.

    4. Choose iView Templatefrom the IView wizard and then select URL IView from the template asdashboard is launched in web application as below.

    IView Name, ID along with Description has to be entered along with the source URL and follow thenext steps to create new URL iViews.

    5. Create a Role by right-clicking the folder. Choose New> Rolesoption as below.

    6. Create the work set by right-clicking the folder. Choose New>Worksetoption as below.

    7. Assign iViews to the workset and then the workset to the respective roles.

    8. To display the Role Tab in the Main Menu of Portal Content, choose properties of Role and worksetand make entry point property as Yes. View the dashboards by clicking Previewas below.
