IMI XIV Global Leadership Programme (GLP-2015)

05 – 19 October, 2015 The landscape of business organizations is undergoing a major shift largely triggered by technological developments and consequent globalization of markets. These two fundamental factors have far reaching impact on organizational architecture, business models and the operational imperatives of an organization. It is clearly the age of globalization where every business is becoming a global business irrespective of the territories one operates in. In fact today global competitors are operating in one’s own backyard and therefore heightening the pressure on companies to become globally competitive. The benchmarks of performance excellence in the contemporary business world therefore, are continually moving and the competition is getting increasingly fierce. This necessitates developing business leaders with global perspective, global competencies and global mindsets capable of moving organizations towards the next orbit. Such competencies will enable business leaders to create growing, winning, competing and globally excelling organizations. The present programme is designed keeping in view the above perspectives. This programme will help participants build/hone the following competencies:

The Programme Architecture The programme is organized into two specific learning phases. Phase I: The Indian Experience The first phase from 05 to 08 October, 2015 is the ‘Domestic Learning Phase’ to be conducted at IMI New Delhi. Phase II: The Overseas Learning Experience The Overseas Learning Phase from 09 to 19 October, 2015 is to be conducted at three locations namely, Oslo (Norway), Frankfurt (Germany) and Paris (France) in association with top institutions/Business Schools in Europe:

Pedagogy The programme will feature a stimulating mix of taught modules, real life cases, videos and practical activities. The programme is designed to be highly interactive with each session consisting of a presentation / activities followed by a class discussion and codifying learning with summary. Who Should Attend The programme is intended for corporate leaders- senior and top level executives from Public & Private sector organizations, and Government Institutions. Participants may be selected to reflect a broad range of leadership positions not only at the functional and business levels but also at the Corporate and Industry levels. Faculty/Resource Persons IMI faculty and eminent resource persons from Industry will share their expertise and experience in highly participative sessions.
